Snow tires....

Well it looks like I have to go to work today, I even called work to make sure that they didn't forget to call me... lol... they said they didn't. Oh well.

But my tires were pretty bald so I had been needing to get new tires for a while now. So with all this wonderful snow, I (mostly Jeromy) thought I should use this as an opportunity to get new tires. I just hate spending so much money on something I don't really get to play with or even realize is there, but I know it's important. Here we are at Discount Tires, those are my old tires, too, can't really tell how worn down they are...those tire guys are pretty awesome...







While we waited the 2 hours to get the replacement tires, we walked over to Sharie's...While we waited for breakfast, we played hangman. We usually play with the kids, but they were spending the night at grandma and grandpa's house. But we played hangman anyway, it's fun and it kills some time.I think Jeromy is impressed with my skills, I think it's cause of all the years I watched Wheel of Fortune with grandma Shield!!! Look how surprised he is...I think he's getting tires of the camera in his face... you think??We also did a little shopping at Fred Meyer. Now the tires are done, finally!! I normally don't care about car stuff, but after spending $479.00, I thought they deserved at least a picture in my blog... stupid tires... even tho I am so thankful that I can even afford tires, a few years ago, I would have still been driving on bald tires. So even tho I think it's STUPID to pay so much for tires, I am thankful that I can. (Don't want to sound like I don't appreciate what I have :o) )Anyway, time to get on the treadmill, and then get ready for work. Stay safe and warm out there!!!
