And it snowed...

and snowed and snowed!!!

WOW!!

I measured on a piece of cardboard yesterday so we could watch as the inches of snow fell... we started at 2 inches because of the snow the day before...
Here's a couple hours later yesterday... 6 and a half inches...
And a few hours later... we all were getting so excited...Here's the back deck...So as of about midnight last night we had about 8 inches of snow... amazing...

Fast forward to this morning, and we still had about 8 inches... so we made some yummy cinnamon muffins and coffee...Extreme close-up...And some of my favorite people...

And now... I'm happy to say... more DUCK TAPE!!! Jade and Kent both got it this time, I wanted to get Jeromy, too, but he said he was fine...

Outside we go... just look how beautiful all this snow is.... this is looking down our hill...

So awesome...

The only reason I was using the umbrella, was so my camera wouldn't get wet while I took a gajillion pictures...The kids started making a snow man, usually I just watch, but this time all that snow was just too irresistible, so down go the camera and umbrella!! While rolling his snow ball, Kent would take frequent breaks to eat some "clean" snow...

Here's the kids finding the "arms" for the snowman...

Look at that snow man!!! It is as tall as we are...

While we built the snowman, Jeromy built an igloo...

The kids helped Jeromy for a bit after we finished the snowman...

Come on, how cool is that?? He didn't quite finish it, but there's always tomorrow...

Kent eating more snow...

As of now we have about 10 and a half inches of snow... I can't remember EVER seeing that much snow!!! And it's only 5:30pm. I want to see how much more we get tonight, but I gotta post this blog before it gets much later. Family is getting hungry, too!!

Until tomorrow!!

P.S. Unfortunately we missed church this morning... lame... but we did set aside about 45 minutes this afternoon, with no tv, or video games. and we all read our bibles together, and talked about what we read. We also all picked out a bible verse to memorize for the week.

Mason has been working on his igloo for days, He saw your igloo Jeromy and I have to say he was alittle jealous. He said HOW DID HE DO THAT! Do you think jeromys is better mom? I better go help him tomorrow. He is doing great for how little he is. Cool snow pic's katie. Misty
