Let it snow let it snow let it snow! It's about 11am and we have about 4 inches of snow!
But before I show the awesome snow pictures and hilarious videos, I have a couple quick pics from the last couple of days!
First, the kids have both been using the elliptical machine. I love that the whole family loves to work out. So important!! Here's Kent going to town....
And then on Tuesday, Jade donated blood for the first time ever!! Her high school was have the Puget Sound blood drive people come and they said students who were at least 16, with parents consent, and with a few other stipulations could be donors. Jade was really excited about it. I donate blood all the time because it's a great thing to do, so even tho she's my baby, and I think her blood should stay in her, I know she'll be helping save lives by donating. So here she is after...
And then today, I got up at 6:30am to find out if Kent would be going to school. And the school said they were at a 2 hour delay. And then an hour later, the school called and said there was NO school for the whole district. Kids were happy!! And since we have the 4 inches, and it's continuing to snow, I don't think I'll be driving into work tonight!! That makes you and me both happy mom!!
Here we are getting all bundled up to go play in the snow...I thought this picture was pretty funny. The kids have been (thankfully) able to wear the same snow clothes for the past few years. But if you haven't noticed Kent has gone thru a HUGE growth spurt this last year. So his snow pants weren't quite long enough... well they say duck tape has many purposes... and I just found another one: Bridging the gap from pants to boots. But don't worry we won't do this every year... I think....
Aren't we all so cute??? Here's Jade... I love all the snow caked into her hat and scarf... and her sweet brown eyes peeking out...
Here's Kent on the verge of sticking his tongue out at me... but he's still a cutie too... I love how all the snow looks behind him. One kid was snow boarding down the hill, and one kid was riding his bike UP the hill...
Here's my awesome husband...
And of course myself...
Kent kept trying to wrestle with Jeromy, so Jeromy had to take him down to china town...
I told Kent, one day he's be stronger than Jeromy, in about 30 years.... but he was loving it... Here's the kids in the back yard...
Here are 3 really short cute videos of the kids sledding... with Jeromy's help...
I was ready to go in, but the kids still wanted to play... so Jeromy and I went in, we went up stairs and got this picture of the kids just laying in the middle of the road... I think they were getting tired, they came in shortly after that. What a fun time in the snow...
Great news, work just called and said they CANCELLED swing shift. The shipyard never cancels work!! I am shocked! Ok, it did happen one other time during my 9 years of working in the yard. But this is awesome! So now I don't have to call in and say I can't make it, they called ME and said do not come in but we'll still pay you, I think it's admin leave! WOO-HOO!!!!
