When we got home, Kent started on his homework, & remember I said I was feeling domestic?? Well, I wanted to make something yummy... can you tell what this is going to be??This might be a better clue....
YUMMY...
Lately I have been dividing treats up when I make them, then everybody knows how much they have and they can eat them as fast as they want (2 a day for the kids) or as slow as they want, but they know how many they have. Kent tends to make things last, and he wouldn't get as many as say... me or something, this way he gets his share!!
So we just chilled the rest of the afternoon. Here's Jade and Kent doing just that...
Now onto dinner. Jeromy helped me make dinner. It's nice making dinner together!!
But my sweetie burnt his finger while taking the steak out of the oven.
Even with his yummy dinner his finger was still hurting... poor baby...
Yummy, steak, potatoes, stuffing, french bread & salad...
And one last one of the kiddos. So cute!!! Now we are all nice and full and are getting ready to watch a movie together. I love family time. So glad I am not at work!!!

I did it again!
Work is slow this week, and they are offering "liberal" leave, so it's hard to turn down a 3 day weekend! WOO-HOO!!!
And I thought I'd try one of their "Sammies". They are a teeny tiny sandwich for only $2. It was small but so good, so there wasn't much guilt involved for someone who's trying to watch what's going in the stomach. I took a picture so you could see just how small it was...
Then we walked next store to the best ice cream place in town... he was a happy boy...
Then Kent and I went to the grocery store to get a few things... since I am going to be home tonight, I wanted to make a nice dinner for everyone, and Jeromy said steak sounded good. So we picked up some steak and some other stuff.
Jeromy's been busy lately. He had 3 jobs just today! So this morning he wanted to know if I'd wake up with him and Jade, and make breakfast for them. Well, since I knew I had the day off (and as crazy as it sounds I was feeling really domestic) I said YES! So, after a few hours of sleep (cause I did have to work late last night) I got up and made Jade and Jeromy and myself some yummy breakfast. Eggs, bacon, and english muffins... Here's Jade...
And Jeromy...
So then Jeromy left for work, and I spent some time with Jade, and then I dropped her off at school, and picked up Kent. He's the first to leave the house in the morning by 6:30am. So he missed breakfast. So I wanted to do something special for him, too... and I know what he loves... a visit to Quiznos and Stone Cold Creamery!!! He loves the steak sandwich...

Did you say "domestic"? I'm glad you took off work. There's nothing better than family night with the ones you love.
Love, Mom
