Well, last night we topped out at almost 11 inches of snow... unbelievable... but here's the proof...
LOOK, our lawn chairs are disappearing into the deck's "wall of snow"...
So, I felt pretty healthy today... I did my workout after feeling like a slug all weekend. And I increased my distance to 3 miles today, I've been at 2 and a half miles for this whole month and I finally was ready to up it to 3 miles and it felt GREAT!!! A token picture of my good friend the treadmill... Jade also worked out on the treadmill this morning WOO-HOO!!
Then I made Jeromy and I our favorite shakes. They are made with a little bit of apple juice, water, a banana, frozen strawberries, and the magic ingredient.... WHEAT GRASS!! It is so good for you, and trust me, it tastes delicious !!!!
And since we had been slugs all weekend, we decided that we would do something constructive. We would all do some major cleaning in our rooms. And I have to say, I CANNOT believe how much stuff (crap) those kids could fit in their rooms. I mean our hall way was full of bags and boxes of stuff they brought out of their rooms. Mom... you would be proud of how much de-cluttering went on in this house. We kept asking the kids, have you used it in the last 6 months? Is there sentimental value or is just crap. They did such a great job! But now we need to do another garage sale, a dump run, and a good will run.

We are kinda stranded and Jade and I realized we had NO chocolate... how does that happen?? So we searched the house, and Jade found one single chocolate kiss. So we did the only thing we could, we split it...
That's pretty sad when you have to split a Hershey's kiss. And my mom has a freezer full of cookies. Lame!! Speaking of my parents, they have been without power since 10 this morning. I don't know what's worse... no power or no chocolate....

So, you're probably wondering why I am blogging and not at work... well...
I QUIT....
JUST KIDDING!!! Maybe someday I'll be able to say that. Well, they canceled work for day shift, but they said swing shift had to come in... well, I had to call in and say my car was buried in a foot of snow and I wasn't going to drive down (or up) my steep hill. They said that was fine, but I am using 8 hours of vacation time, so that is kinda lame. But I am safe at home with my family...

I love your new blog look. I'm so glad you came over and got your Christmas cookies today. I couldn't believe you were without "goodies" all day. When I saw you had to "split" a single hershey kiss, I think I cried a little.
