Thanksgiving is right around the corner....

With Thanksgiving being right around the corner I thought I would comment on a few things I am thankful for. These people I am thankful for should come as no surprise...

#1 - OF COURSE- God for giving me life, and forgiving my sins and granting ever-lasting life... wow!

#2 For my daughter Jade.... too much to write about her, just know she's amazing! I know I had her way too young, but I also feel because of her my life changed directions in an instant, I was heading down the WRONG path, and I had to change alot when she came into my life.

#3 My son Kenton, he is just so amazing. I never thought I could love a son, soooo much. He's so smart, and sweet, and so serious, especially when he asks me "mom, do you think I'm serious enough?".

#4 For my step-daughter Aurora, for being such a little angel. Blended families are always challenging, and I couldn't ask for a sweeter nicer daughter than Aurora, plus she always likes to hug!!! #5 Last but not least, my husband of 2 years, Jeromy... even though he tried to dodge my picture knowing it was for a blog about what I was thankful for.... I do love that he's a big kid at heart, life is so short, and I want to be happy, he definitely makes me happy, and a little crazy, but we are perfect for each other...The list could go on...

#6 My health...

#7 My job- there are things that I dislike, but especially during these economic times I am so thankful for the stability of my job.

#8 Jesus dying on the cross for me, that's kinda with my number 1 reason to be thankful, but it really is the most important thing and I think about it all the time...

#9 My home...

#10 All my family! Love ya mom and dad, Misty and fam, cousins aunts, friends, church family... of course my favoritest grandma: Grandma Shield!!!!!

Soooo many things to be thankful for... I read some where that some one was thankful for good teeth and gums, and I thought that was kind of a goofy thing to be thankful for... then I thought again, I AM thankful for good teeth and gums. Nothings too small to be thankful for.

I think I'll be asking the kids shortly what they are thankful for and share that with you...

And yes, I am even thankful for the rain, especially when I am inside, nice and dry hearing it on the roof.

Offer to God thanksgiving, And pay your vows to the most High.

One more thing to add, my yummy salad.... lettuce, spinach- lots of spinach, brocolli, cheese, cherry tomatoes, ground flax seed, chopped dry roasted almonds, onions and ranch- full flavor ranch, no low fat or fat free ranch. I figure if I'm eating a salad at least I can have a yummy dressing!!
