Doing yard work...

between rain showers.

Of course, I'm staying inside where it's dry and warm... of course! But I am making the guys some lunch!

Jade's still at school, college that is, until 1pm. Then we're taking both kids to our Off-Campus consultant to check in. Jade's got a math test to take, also.

Great hard working husband...Now onto our chickens. They have stopped laying eggs... all of them... all at once...

People have told us there are different reasons they slow down egg production. But all at once, not even one egg?

Well, the change in season is the number one reason. It's just plain cold outside, but of course my logic is make more eggs that will keep the chickens warmer. Also they need stimulation, so Jeromy is going to let them out in a larger fenced in area. And also to talk to them more... are you kidding me? Well, Jeromy did used to go out there everyday to just relax back there- and I know he was talking to them, but now it's too cold for that.

I think it's a conspiracy. I think those chickens got together and decided to stop laying. Those spoiled chickens have it so good. Here's a video I took, maybe I'm not the one who should be doing the "positive talk" for the chickens.... lol I crack myself up! Maybe I should let the chickens know I'm making chicken sandwiches for lunch!!!
