Father's Day... Part One...

Jeromy's side of the family was having a Father's Day BBQ today cause they know it's so hard to get everybody together on the same day. But I had to work, but then again it doesn't take much for me to ask for the day off. Soooo..... another 3 day weekend woo-hoo!!

And Jeromy's dad took this last picture with his camera, which turned out really awesome, but then he sent it thru the email, I saved it, then tried to down load it into my blog, and somewhere along the way it shrunk, and I can't make it bigger, which really sucks cause it's a great picture, but you can barely make out any of the people....

Also, some totally great news... well you know how we're gearing up for our next run/walk. Which is the last weekend in July, the Whaling Days event in Silverdale. While I am trying to recruit as many family members as I can who will participate in the event! And before you say no-way, there are 2 different runs. The first one is the 4 mile run, but then they are also having a 1 mile walk/run!!!

I am so excited about this! So far, myself, Jade, Kent, my co-worker Regie, Jeromy's parents Chuck and Joanne, and Aurora if we have her that weekend. I'm pretty sure Kyle will be doing it if he doesn't have a cross-country training event.

And guess who else has signed on.... MY MOM!!! I am so excited my mom is going to be doing this, too!!! It will be so cool getting our numbers pinned on and crossing the start line and finish line and my mom doing it too! Now I know my mom can walk a mile easy-shmeesy, but the fact that I know she hates crowds and she's still doing it.

What is really funny, is that I want Jeromy to do it, too, but he said he'd only do it if my mom did it- he didn't think she'd say yes, and she said yes!! Mostly cause she knew Jeromy thought she'd say no. Either way my mom and husband are doing the whaling days walk/run... does this mean dad is volunforced mom??? We'd love to have him, too, and maybe Misty would do it, too, cause you can have strollers I think too!


One more thing, Jeromy finished the order of 26 T-shirts for the inspection guy, and I thought you might like to see a little video of him in action, (in his PJ's- hahaha) with his new equipment!!

Father's Day: part 2 will be Sunday. Which will be in the next post, unless we do something super fun (or even just so-so) tomorrow.
