Donating Blood...

Jeromy and Kent went to the Men's Breakfast at church today, Kent said they had alot of yummy food- including donuts!

While the guys were gone, Jade and I had appointments this morning to donate blood at the Puget Sound Blood Center. WEELLLLLL, it turns out I couldn't give today, when they do the little finger prick test to make sure your blood is good, they said my red blood cell count was too high. Usually it is too low in woman. I did work out this morning, and they said it could be due to dehydration. I've been told I'm dehydrated with other blood tests, but I DRINK soooo much water, I couldn't possibly be dehydrated. But the test says other wise.

Anyway, they said come back and try again in 3 days, and don't work out just before. And if it's still high, I need to go see my doctor cause I could have a build up of too much iron. Lame.

Anyway, Here's Jade with her sticker saying "I gave blood today"...

And me and my sticker saying "I tried giving blood"....But the staff was pretty cool, and said I could still have coffee/juice and cookies, which is what I was looking forward to!!

Also one of the nurses working on Jade asked if I was her friend or sister.... hahaha, I don't think I'll ever get tired of that. But I was on the other side of the room, so she didn't see my tired puffy eyes from this morning.

Anyway, we are headed to Laura's tonight for our church's small group get together, I think we should call it large group cause there are so many people!! And so much yummy awesome food!!
