At the end of the game, there was a firework show. Great job Aurora!!!
Here's the guys: Jeromy, Alex and Kenton...
Since Tessa had a birthday, we had gotten her a birthday present!
Tessa, Jade, Julia and Ashton... Ashton was a little shy at first, I think he was remembering us but still a little unsure at first...
Here's Iana and I. She is the cutest little thing. I thought she'd be too big for me to pick up or that she wouldn't want me to pick her up cause she's older now. But when we saw each other, she came running and I just swooped her up like old times. Just love that girl!
Aurora, Tae' and Nadia... such CUTE girls, but we missed Beriah!!!! She already had other plans with another friend so she wasn't there today, we sure did miss seeing her tho...
Ashton finally warmed up enough to let Jeromy hold him on his lap while he was eating his pizza. Jeromy really misses these kids...
After all that fun with the Trig kids, Jeromy and I headed to the (dreaded) car dealerships to try to find a vehicle. We were not looking forward to adding a car payment to our list-o-bills, but you gotta do what ya gotta do right?
Well, we saw a Toyota truck, it seemed perfect. But of course they couldn't get the payment, interest or the amount of months to make the payments to were we were happy with them. So after a little haggling, we had to leave cause we had to get Aurora to her Saturday evening baseball practice. Sooooo, while we were out driving to Tacoma, the dealership called and said they could miraculously ( sarcasm totally intended) get the payments down to were we wanted them, BUT.... during that last 2 hours they had SOLD THE TRUCK TO SOMEONE ELSE! I was so mad, I couldn't believe they did that, they were working with us, got it to where we wanted it... then sold it to someone else... I loathe car salesmen.... anyway, more on the car issue stuff later in the blog (happy ending so don't stress it- like I did).
On the way to Aurora's practice, we were dropping off Kent to his cousin Kyle's house. Kyle was having some big hamburger party thing with alot of his friends, and watching a movie. Kent was spending the night. So when we got there, there was alot of people, including friends from church, Alison and her husband Tim, so it was nice to visit with them! Here's little Hannah with one of her friends...Here's Kent with some of the guys...
Aurora at her practice... the weather was beautiful, Jeromy and I just laid in the grass for part of the practice. There was a huge grassy field by the baseball field, but I think my allergies are in full swing. I was delaying taking the Zyrtec cause once I start I'm taking it for the next few months and I hate that. Kent has already started taking the Zyrtec cause he has really bad allergies- poor baby...
After the practice, we couldn't resist going back to Laura's to catch the tail end of the Par-tay!!! And some Triggs were there, we got to see them twice in one day, it was amazing!!!!
Laura has so much cool stuff at her house; pools, little pools, movies, video games, food, friends, and a trampoline.... they were in mid-jump: Aurora, Tae' and Nadia... Shane and Hannah are in the left back of the trampoline....
Laura's husband Jason was kind enough to follow us home to help us tow or truck home that was 3 minutes from our house. That was so nice of him cause the vehicle had already been tagged by the police, and Jason said that you typically have 24 hours to move the car before it gets towed once it's tagged. So here's Jason getting ready to tow Jeromy's truck. This is a funny angle, it makes Jason's truck look HUGE next to Jeromy's truck, Jeromy sarcastically said: that's what every guy wants to here....But you know what the most amazing part about Jason coming to help tow Jeromy's truck??? HE FIXED JEROMY'S TRUCK!!!! I was in shock when Jeromy drove the truck home and told me... I was speechless. I thought the truck was completely dead. But I guess Jason being an electrician, he played with some of the cables (I could be explaining that wrong) so what ever he did it made Jeromy's truck work. I was so happy!
First, cause he came out and saved us a tow fee. Second cause he made the truck work! And then I remembered how mad I was that that other truck sold that we were looking at. I realize now that God's hand was on that. We weren't meant to buy that truck, I would have been even more mad if we had gotten into a new car payment and then his truck started working. Also, our plan was to spend the afternoon today at a (lame) dealership after church, looking for another vehicle. So now we didn't have to waste our afternoon at a car lot on this gorgeous day. So Laura I'm so thankful Jason was able to come help us out, in more ways than one- THANK YOU!!!
So after leaving Laura's we had Hannah S. come spend the night. Not little Hannah S. but big Hannah S. LOL Here's Jade, Aurora and Hannah hanging out late last night...
Sooo today, Sunday, we went to church. Our Pastor Kevin was in Oregon this weekend watching one of his grandchildren graduate. Another one of the guys gave the sermon and he did a nice job, but I prefer Pastor Kevin. He'll be back next week tho...
After church, we all went to the Pancake House for breakfast. When did going out to breakfast cost almost almost $70??? Totally lame.
Anyway, I DID enjoy NOT having to go to the car dealership today (thanks again Jason!!) Instead I got to sit out in the sun for a bit. Not very long tho cause we had more errands to run at Home Depot like buying a new blade for the lawn mower, and some other misc. things.
Here's a couple cute pictures of Aurora and her dad....
Later we had dinner, Orange Chicken, it's Aurora's favorite when she's over, so of course we try to have it!
After dropping Aurora off back at home, Jeromy and I went to see the new X-men movie. Not knowing anything about the comic book or the story line in general, it was a pretty good movie, of course the special effects were pretty cool.
So now we are home, and exhausted after another busy busy busy weekend. I guess we just can't seem to do it any other way.
Peace out!

You're so busy you make me tired. I'm glad you got to see the Trig kids again. I know you love and miss them. Glad you didn't have to buy new truck too. TEN MILES - crazy! Love you!
