June's over half over??? But where is the sun???

Soooo, what do you think I did Saturday morning??? Here's a clue... it's the 2nd to last week of my half marathon training.... yup, went to the YMCA with the fam.

AND I RAN 8 MILES!!!

Felt pretty good, too! There were no issues Laura! I think the air circulation is better at the Y than in my exercise room at home!

While I was running, Jade, Jeromy and Kent also worked out! Both kids worked the cardio machines then went swimming. Jeromy worked the elliptical next to me then went and lifted some weights, then came back and did more elliptical next to me.... I was running the whole time for 1 hour and 36 minutes!!!

After our workout, we were able to see a couple of the Trig kids again! We got to see Beriah and Tae'!!!! Beriah wasn't there last time, so we weren't able to give her her birthday present! She turned 11 in March and we were finally able to give her present to her in June! She has gotten sooo big, I actually thought she was her oldest sister Julia from a distance! Look at her cuteness!!!

Jeromy really misses them. When Beriah called Jeromy saying she hoped we could visit with us she started crying cause she misses us, Jeromy teased her saying she just wanted her present! LOL He loves those kids!

I love them, too!

After seeing the girls, we headed over to Tacoma to pick up Aurora! Then we headed to Jeromy's grandpa's birthday party also in Tacoma. I think Jeromy said he was 87. He's the grandpa on Jeromy's mom's side of the family, it's sad... Jeromy lost his mom and his grandpa John lost a daughter.

After the party, we were dropping Jeromy's brother off at their parents' house. Jeromy's parents were at a graduation, and Patsy was watching all the little kiddos. We got there just as they were finishing up lunch. The 3 on the left side of the table are Patsy's kids: Rosie, JL and Oscar, the 4 on the right side of the table are Jeromy's nieces and nephews: Haley, Katelynn, Cameron and Jacob...

So we visited a little bit, and Patsy had the Michael Jackson wii game. Not sure exactly what it's called but you copy Michael dancing to his songs. I happen to think he has some amazing songs. And Jeromy being the sport he is, got up and had a dance off with Oscar who is 8 I think.... I wish I could have taken video, these are blurry cause they were taken with a camera phone...

You can see him smiling even thru the blurred picture...

Jade also danced with Cameron to another song...

After that, all 5 of us headed to Aurora's baseball practise, also in Tacoma. Then we finally headed home.

Once home, Jeromy and I had a job to do, with Aurora's help. Sunday morning during church, it was Jeromy and my's turn to work in the back with the Sunday school kids. And they were learning about God's creation, and we were tasked with making rice krispie "Earths". The recipe seemed easy enough.... well, it was fun but it was messy also. We made two batches of rice krispies, and mixed one with blue food coloring and one with green food coloring. And then we took a little bit from each side and mashed them into little balls. And they really did look like little earths with the blue sea and the green land... but our hands were a mess...

Looks like the planet earth to me. And the kids ate them all Sunday morning!

Sunday was also fathers day.

So I made some special banana bread made with love for Jeromy!!!

And Aurora had gotten something for her dad!

Just what he needed. A pair of socks that he could locate!

Aurora painted the words on the socks- too cute!

Then we headed over to my parents house to visit with them and Misty's family. Here's dad with Misty and I... and little Kelsey got in the picture, too... HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DAD!!

Just chillaxin'...

Kent and Denny in the man cave playing video games. I didn't even bother to ask them to look up I just took the picture!

Cute girls, and Mason...

More cute girls...

And MORE cute girls...

My cutest one of all...

So happEEEE togetheRRRRRRRR....

Hard to tell in this picture, but Denny and Jade BOTH had red, white and blue bands on their braces... pretty cool!

Misty's family... Dennis had to work- on father's day no less- lame!!! Maybe we'll see him on Kelsey's birthday in August- can't wait!!! Those boys are getting big Misty!!

I leave you with Aurora's adorable baseball picture, she's soooo stinkin' cute, but don't let the sweet face fool you, she has got an arm on her to throw that baseball so watch out!

My parents were kind enough to have Jade and Kent over night again. So Jeromy and I went out to dinner and then we went and saw The Green Lantern movie, it was better than I thought it would be.

Now I'm tired. It's been a long weekend. And next weekend is even more stuff: My Half Marathon!!!
