Kent's Birthday--- Part: Two

Well, yesterday was Kent's birthday. He's 17 now... I remember being 17, where does the time go???

So I told Kent I'd make him what ever he wanted for breakfast. And he wanted waffles. I added some turkey sausage to that order.... YUM!! Poor Kent, I pretty much woke him out of bed saying "Waffles!!!", he kinda looks like he's a liitle beat up first thing in the morning- kinda how I look sometimes first thing in the morning LOL!!!

Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Lee stopped by to have some cake!Still can't believe there's 17 candles on that cake....Wonder what he wished for... he's already got a great mom LOL, yeah, I'm working on being humble LOL....Later yesterday we headed to game stop to return a game he got for another game he wanted instead. He also got some kind of 3-way charger for his hand held systems.

That brings us to today, Grandma Claire stopped by to pick Jade and Kent up to take them out to Red Robin for Kent's birthday... here they are...

While they were out, I ran some errands; went to fill a couple prescriptions at GHC, went to the bank, & filled (mostly) the tank with gas.

When Claire drops off the kids here shortly, Kent and I have to head back out to the Orthodontist. He has an appt at 2. It's his last appt before getting his braces off at the end of this month. Sooo coool!!

Then I head into work. Speaking of work, they announced that some high up admiral has made a shipyard wide MANDATORY 10 hour shifts 6 days a week started today thru August/September. Crazy. I can definitely use the money with Kent graduating next year and some other misc stuff coming up, but that's just crazy, we've had moments where there's been forced overtime, but I've never seen it shipyard wide. There's alot of angry peeps in the yard right now. Just have to make the best of it I guess.
