Super cute picture of Jade eating her ham and lettuce sandwich....
It all got eaten up, too!
We had our Saturday night fellowship hangout at Michelle's. We were making stir-fry rice... I love it! Dicing up the ham... and some chicken, too....
Cooking the ham with some cut up onion and small pieces of broccoli, cooking the chicken, and scrambling some eggs mixed with soy sauce... yup I love fried rice.... actually I just steam 6 cups of rice then add all this stuff with it and some extra soy sauce... is that still considered fried rice???
We also got a Costco cake to celebrate Sept./Oct. birthdays...
Some super cool teenagers... Hannah, Jade, Julia and Tessa....
Here's the "guys" working outside... Philip, Kyle, Austin, Kent and Dalton...
Some of those same guys cookin' in the kitchen.... Kyle those fried potato things were AWESOME!!!!!
When I first got there, I almost didn't recognize Hannah, she was sitting in a big person chair watching cartoons with all the big kids, I couldn't believe it! She's so big! The Trig's dog Toasty got in the picture, but I don't know why the dogs eyes look neon green- kinda scary!
Everyone enjoying their dinner....
LOVE all those people!!
It's kinda fun, because it's "understood" that there will be some kind of sleep over arrangement after one of our get-togethers. Laura, took all the older boys and some younger, I took a mix of kids, and Michelle had a mix of kids. The kids love it! I have to admit I have fun with all the kids, too. I think our husbands are just incredibly patient loving caring husbands.... right Laura??
I started Sunday morning at 6:46am... why 6:46, and not 6:45??? Interesting question, Jade was born at 6:46 (pm) and I just thought it was funny! So anyway I started my morning bright and early and got on the treadmil and did my 3 miles. Which reminds me, Kyle you need to send me that work out you're having your mom do in between runs!

Sunday morning we headed to church. We had a great time as usual. Our friend Michelle was coming over to visit in between services. (Our church has started the Sunday evening services!) And while we were visiting, we got a call from a realtor wanting to show our house at 4pm! So we straightened up real quick! Michelle had this great idea where you microwave a bowl of vanilla and it makes the house smell great, it worked!
While the realtor was showing the house we all went out to Fiesta (a Mexican restaurant) and had dinner, so it worked out perfectly. That is the 3rd showing we've had for our house this week! So pray for us that something will happen!
During the evening service we went over Roman's Road.... which is as follows- pretty cool I think...
During the evening service we went over Roman's Road.... which is as follows- pretty cool I think...
Romans 3:23... all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 6:23a.... the wages of sin is death....
Romans 6:23b... but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 5:8... God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9... If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you shall be saved.
As Michelle had said earlier in the day about something different... "ya, chew on that for a while!"
Good stuff!
So I probably won't blog tomorrow, unless my kids do something totally cute, which means maybe I probably will blog tomorrow.
Jeromy and I have another "adjustment" tomorrow with the chiropractor. Oh ya, when I ran this morning I had absolutely no pain in my left hip or knee. Don't know if it has anything to do with the chiropractor or not, but it was awesome to not feel anything there!
Then we are going to look at another house in port orchard, we are kinda slowly looking again since we had 3 people look at our house.
So that's about it.
Oh ya, my sister Misty is having surgery tomorrow morning to have her gal bladder removed (just like my mom and I) so we are praying for a quick recovery for you Misty!
