Fall is here... and I am freezing!!!

Anyway our weekend has come to a close... and we packed it full of stuff to do, maybe too much stuff, but you only live once, right?

We had Aurora this weekend. She helped her dad feed the chickens Saturday morning.... those chickens are eating good, and they are making alot of delicious eggs for us!

Jeromy putting on his new work boots he got...Then Jeromy and Aurora played a few intense games of "Candy Land" and "Guess Who?"....

Took some adorable pictures together...

Jeromy was tired he couldn't even make it up the stairs he collapsed right on the stairs landing... But no rest for the weary, we were having dinner at a our friend Michelle's house... Jeromy was also continuing some work at her house, and 3 of her kids had just had birthdays!

Her oldest son was turning 16, and he wanted a MACHETE!!! Ya, let that sink in.... I just didn't feel right buying a teenager a machete, so I talked to Michelle and she said it would be ok, cause she wanted him to whack the blackberry bushes in their backyard. So as long as the mom is ok with it, and Jeromy was all over buying a machete, I think it is in a guys blood to want to get big knives!

Well, Jeromy got the 22" machete, and I made him a pretty cool case to keep it in ( his mom said that was the only requirement- it needed a case!). I wrote his name in the case, and it folds in half and velcros shut.

Then Michelle's twins Nadia and Tae' just turned 11 years old, they were much more fun to shop for.... CLOTHES!! It must be in a girls DNA to shop for clothes!
We were ready to head to the Trigs' house!
Here's Jeromy and Ashton... he's the next birthday boy...
Jade and Aiden...
Here's the 3 birthday kids opening their presents... they all are so dang cute!
Then Jeromy went to work on the pantry.... the last time we were over, Jeromy put up the shelves and sheet rocked the walls, Jason was there to help which was awesome, here's a reminder of what it looked like, all the kids drew on the sheet rock before it got painted...
Since then, Michelle has painted the sheet rock, and here's Jeromy with the 3 doors he's about to install...
One down, two to go! Now all they'll need is the trim....
Here's Tae' and Nadia wearing one of their birthday shirts! How cute are they, I just want to squeeze them!!!
Julia and Jade on the computer, super cute as well!
Here I took a picture of Tessa taking a picture of the teriyaki beef stir fry(YUM!!) her mom was making! I'm so proud of that girl taking pictures of EVERYTHING! You can always delete what you don't want right Tessa?
Austin is building a watch tower in the back yard, here's some of the kids climbing on it!
Then it was time for dessert! We got an apple pie and a cinnamon butter coffee cake at Costco... YUM!
OH- and 3 cans of ready whip.... Iana was diggin' that...
So was Tessa....
We watched a movie while we were over there that was Christian based, and it was a tear jerker, even Jeromy had an "allergy" attack. We had a great time, and ended up taking some Trigs home with us.... 7 Trigs! But we love them, and it had been a long time since they had been over! Can you believe I didn't get any pictures of that! Oh well!
The next morning we headed to church, it is always nice to be there. There are alot of great people in that church who truly want to follow the Word of God, it's good to be around people like that, positive atmosphere for all of us.
After church we went to my favorite: Pancake house, and looked who toddled over to our table...
That was a cool surprise to see Kelsey and her whole family, she's walking like such a big girl!
After that we had another birthday party to go to. My friend Frances at work has a little girl, Phoebe, who's turning 6! Her mom has a friend who has a horse and she brought the horse over for all the kids to ride. You can't tell in this picture but the horse had bows and ribbons on it, and purple glitter in it's hair, it was a princess party ya know!
They have a play room where I found Jade and Kent playing on the WII...
Then outside, here's Jade, Aurora and myself.. can you tell we were blinded by the sun? It was a beautiful day today!
Unfortunately, as we were getting ready to leave, Aurora got stung by a bee! Stupid bee! Aurora had never been stung by a bee before, and she was really calm about it! Poor girl, she was crying silently in the car.... it was so sad, but she was so brave...
We then had to drop off Aurora in Tacoma. While there we stopped at Trader Joe's to get Jeromy's gluten free cereal, and my favorite fiber cereal, and it is really cheap there!
THEN, we headed back into town. Our church is staring up there Sunday evening services again for the fall, and the first one was a potluck. So we headed over to Fred Meyer to get some food, and I needed a coffee bad! So while I'm at star bucks, my family is patiently waiting... aren't they cute??
The evening service was great. The potluck food was great, scored one of Laura's home made delicious chocolate chip cookies! We watched a short video of the rise and fall of Rome, and how there are alot of similarities in America today. So glad I am a born again Christian.
So much to be thankful for... too many blessings to count!
