Muffin Party??

What a title huh? Well, Jeromy and I had another adjustment with the chiropractor this morning. Then we had to go meet with a client of his to get a payment, and to write up a new contract for more work she wants done.

We came home for a bit. We were going to head back to Port Orchard about 1:30pm cause we were going to go look at a house with our realtor. She said the people that looked at our house yesterday were VERY interested but they need their house in Seabeck to sell first... lame.

So while we're waiting, Laura called and said they were having a muffin party... well I had to ask what that meant. Turns out it's pretty self explanatory: come over... eat muffins. So since we were headed over to PO anyway, why not crash the muffin party???

They had, I think, blueberry muffins, chocolate chip muffins, and cinnamon rolls made with home made frosting. They also made a ton of scrambled eggs and toast, mmmm and coffee...

The big boys went on a walk around town for about an hour, when did Kent get so big??I think they should have named it "The PJ muffin party"! Most people came in their PJ's!!MMMMM, more muffins...Now, this is pretty cool.... with a house full of Christians, who would you want knocking on the door? Mormons? The people of LDS??? Well, that would have been entertaining. But instead there were these 2 kids selling magazines for some high school fund raiser. Well, Laura and Jeromy stepped into action. It was pretty amazing to see. I am kind of a wuss when it comes to evangelizing, but Laura and Jeromy are great. Even tho they both said they were nervous, they didn't show it.

While the guys were going over there magazine info stuff, Laura was feeding them muffins, letting them talk, then Laura with her wonderful sense of humor said "you didn't know you were walking into a house full of Christians did ya". So they all talked for a little while. I know alot of you would think this is crazy, or just plain weird. Well, the Bible says we are commanded to preach the gospel to every creature.

And at the end of the visit, all of them prayed over everything that was said, even the 2 young men. Who knows what they'll do with the information they heard, maybe nothing, maybe change the course of their life... who knows. But they heard the gospel, the seeds were planted, now it's up to them what they do with it. Anyway I thought it was pretty cool to witness that, and I am so proud of my husband and cousin to be so bold for Christ, for something that most people (myself included) are too scared to do.

So later, we looked at the house in PO, it is pretty cool. It needs alot of work, but I got just the right guy for the job.

Speaking of jobs, after we left the house, Jeromy had another job he had to check out before we went home. He had to check under the guys crawl space to see how much insulation he needed. Small world, the guy is our chiropractor. Here's Jeromy changing after crawling under the house... gross!

I can't believe we've already gone thru our 3 day weekend. Where did the time go????

GOD BLESS!!
