What we've been up to...

First of all, Jeromy and I have decided to get some baby chicks to eventually have our own eggs. A couple from church do it, and we thought it would be a cool family project. Jeromy loves building things with his hands, so for the past week he has been researching how to raise chickens, and all that that entails. Including building a chicken coop! He has a program on the computer that does 3 dimensional drawings, so he has been working on a layout plan for the chicken coop. Aurora even helped him on the design process. He checked some out online for some ideas and there are some pretty elaborate coops out there, better than alot of actual houses I've seen!

He's also picked out the location... way in the back yard in that little clearing... he's been doing alot of cleaning back there...
Here's a before...And after....Another before...And after...
I got a little video of Jeromy in action...

Also when we get the chicks, they have to be indoors for a few weeks, so Jeromy made this box into their little home, complete with a little window in front, and holes in the top for heat lamps I think, and the whole top lifts open...

So also last night while I was at work, Laura and Jason were having a get together with people from church, so Jeromy brought the kids over. I made cupcakes earlier in the day for them to bring over to frost... here's Aurora and Jeromy doing just that...
Jade feeding Hannah...
Jade playing with Hannah... I'm so jealous...
I heard that Jason and Laura had some grubbin' tacos for dinner! And cookies and brownies!!! Jeromy said they all had a good time, one of the guys brought over his guitar and they sangs songs. And Jeromy brought over our new Bible trivia game. I was able to get off an hour early last night so Jeromy was able to pick me up from work after there fun time was over... one more Hannah picture! And Kent also got to spend the night!
So this morning, Jeromy was helping a friend from church move some wood, so that left just us girls!!! But sweet Jeromy made us all french toast before he left... LOVE HIM!!! Here we are ...
I almost didn't want to put this next picture in here, Aurora is wearing her daddy's cowboy hat, and Jade is wearing her hat like grandpa's... but the girls themselves are sooo beyond cute...We had plans to meet up with my mom at material girls so Aurora could pick out the material she liked, so my awesome mom could make curtains for her room! She picked the perfect color that matches both colors she has in her room....Then it was time to go pick up Kent, they had another boy over there, so it was Kyle, Kent & Austin, and they all played some baseball up at the field by Laura's house. These boys are all so great! That also meant I got to see Hannah.... so cute...I tried to stop by Misty's house to see Kelsey but her kids weren't feeling the greatest, so maybe next time... until then feast your eyes on this cuteness...

I also want to show you what I made. More bible cases.... Jeromy has 2 now, one for his large and one for his small bible....He wanted some kind of notepad holder built in... you can see how it works in each bible...And I got a little more creative with mine, I didn't want it too busy looking, so I really like this simple cross, it slightly flares out at the ends...Here are 3 cute kids...

JADE

KENTONAURORAThen we got a call from Grandma Cindy, she finished Aurora's curtains, can you believe it?? So we raced over to get them. See grandpa way in the background??We got grandma to snap a quick picture of us all...Look how perfectly these curtains match!! Thanks so much mom, now her room is complete!!What a super cool room, if I do say so myself! This daddy loves his daughter...Kisses for daddy...Kisses for Aurora...What a day!!! Now we are all just hanging out. I am meeting up with my old friend Teresa later on tonight at Red Robin to visit for a while. Fun fun fun!

Have a great weekend!
