Veterans Day

I had the day off today which is always nice!!! Kent spent the night at cousin Laura's house, and Jade spent the night at grandma's last night so Jeromy and I had the morning to ourselves... :o) ... that's all I have to say about that!

And since my mom and Laura are so cool, I was able to get the kids when ever I wanted. So I was able to go help Jeromy out on his job.

Here he is mudding the walls ( alot of the sheet rock he also hung)....

Then I took a little video of him working...

Well, after that, I thought I should put down my extra-hot, non-fat, latte with half the Irish-cream, double-shot coffee and help him for a bit...

After watching Jeromy I thought it looked pretty easy... well I was wrong. There is definitely some skill required to do this job, Jeromy just made it look easy!!

But don't let him fool you, as soon as I said I was leaving earlier than planned he gave me that sad look and said don't go... wish I could have gotten THAT on camera!!!

Then we got the kiddos, which involved running over to Laura's and I got to hold baby Hannah while she slept for a while, she is the sweetest baby!! Speaking of sweetest baby's, I was going to call you Misty and stop by, but I figured you were probably still recuperating! Hope you're feeling better than yesterday!!

Then we went to my mom's were she had dinner for us! Shepard's Pie! YUMMY! Thanks again mom for dinner! She fed Jeromy and Jade last night, and then our whole family tonight! And she had Jade make strawberries dipped in chocolate. Yes, Jade and I finished off the whole plate. I'm glad my mom put a few to the side cause we probably would have eaten those, too! Thanks again MOM!!!

Now we are home. Kids are finishing up the last of their homework. Jeromy and I did some Bible reading. I'm finishing up this blog. And THEN, we're going to make some popcorn and watch Bruce Almighty that we borrowed from my mom.
