Some of this and that

No pictures today, but I did change my blog back ground. I'm not the greatest with computer stuff, it took me forever to find out how to find, copy, and paste it. And my computer was so slow, that it took forever to even look through all the choices. I was almost wishing there weren't sooo many choices, but then I came across this perfect one!! I love purple and green, and I also like the little strips of black.

Anyway, we had church this morning. The youth pastor gave the sermon cause the regular pastor was away. And I can see why this guy works with kids, he was so fun and funny. He seems like he would relate well with kids. So Jade and Kent are going to try the youth group this Wednesday evening.

After church we came home so the kids could work on homework for bit. Then Jeromy thought it would be nice to bring dinner over for my parents, since my mom was still recovering from oral surgery (still waiting for an updated blog tho... ). So we got an oven roasted chicken, some potato salad, regular salad, french bread, and some jo-jo's!! Yum!!

After that, we left and headed to Barnes N Noble. Our favorite family place to go!! There was a book I was wanting that I thought I would have to reserve, but they actually had it in stock. Called "The Uncommon Woman". I heard about it on the Christian radio station we listen to (I've ordered other books after hearing the intereview with the author). This book sounded really good, about being an upstanding christian woman in this crazy world and all the pressures it puts on a person.

Anyway, we're all home now, and are about to watch a movie. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Thanks again Laura for the fun party, and for Misty letting me hold Kelsey the whole time.... was I really a baby hog Laura? I probably would have shared Kelsey... probably :o)
