Great day

What a difference a few solid hours of sleep make!

We did quite a bit today, and it's only noon!

I got up at 6:30 and drove Kent down to the bus stop. I got a quick hug from Jeromy before he went off to work.... but he wouldn't let me get of his face cause his hair was kinda crazy, but I got this hug in...

Then it was just Jade and I, and I thought it would be nice for her and I to go out to breakfast have some mother daughter time! Here she is getting ready to dive into her hot chocolate... isn't she adorable????

And then getting her omelet....Here's me BEFORE the coffee...

And then after that first sip of the delicious brew...Then Jade and I got some stuff at the grocery store, and then we had her 24 hour sylvan conference, they have conferences after every 12 hours of service, and she's doing great! If I can afford it, I'm going to try to have her go thru the summer, it is helping her so much in the math department!

So then I dropped Jade off at school, and picked Kent up. I KNEW what would make Kent happy. A stop at Quiznos AND Stone cold Creamery... cause you know they are connected to each other in town here, and it's hard to go to one and not the other!! Here's Kent with his steak and cheddar sandwich....

And then his marsh mellow ice-cream with Reece's peanut butter cups mixed in...We're always so busy all the time, so it's hard to get some one-on-one time with each child, so when I can it's so fun to spoil them!

So remember I said I went to the grocery store earlier? Well, my husband mentioned something the other day about snickerdoodles. So I got some of the ingredients we were missing to make them.... here they are getting ready to be rolled in sugar and cinnamon...

YUMNow this is a sad state of affairs!! This cookie got away from me, and there was no 5 second rule today since it has been a while since Kent has swept the floor. Oh well, into the garbage it goes.
