Let's see....

I was thinking I had a few weeks till my 12 week half marathon training started, so I looked at a calendar to see when so I could check out the training and it starts TOMORROW! Where did the time go????

Anyway I couldn't find the 12 week training I did last year, I searched several sights last year to find one that I liked. But I've missed placed it. I've since looked for one similar but couldn't.... sooo I created my own after looking at several that had parts that I liked- such as the speed at which the mileage increases.
I'm getting excited people!!! I'm going to TRY to do those cardio 1 hour workouts twice a week but I'm not going to pressure myself, it's just a goal, the main thing is to do the runs 4 times a week.... but some cross training is good- right Kyle??

I've got it prominently displayed on my fridge for easy reference...

Also today, I helped Kent do some deep cleaning in his room. Poor kid, he's a pack rat just like his mom. I'm a recovering pack rat, it's a disorder that's always under the surface so it's a constant effort to keep from letting things pile up and cause clutter... hahahahaha... mostly laughing, but I think my cleaning genes and a need for organization are full on mom, I know they lied dormant for many years, but now they are out... but it still takes a long time to go thru years of clutter and to minimize and to just throw stuff out, but it feels so good! I finally get it!!! LOL But now I gotta teach it to Kent. And it's painful...

He wants to keep everything. Papers from years ago... scratch pieces of paper that have video game codes to games he doesn't even remember what they go too... but he wants to keep them... well, we made alot of headway, you can actually see ALL his carpet. But he's not happy about it. Change is hard, but change is good... here's some after shots... you do not want to see the before shots, even I couldn't post those!

He still has so much clutter and knick-knacks and DUST on every shelf, I think that will be next weekend's chore, but at least his floor is clear...ok, I bet you want to know what we're having for dinner, right? Well, we are having Tri-tip....Mashed potatoes...

And corn... now you all will be able to sleep tonight :o)

The infamous Jade and Kent, these kids crack me up. We had a couple of firsts today with them... today, was the first time Jade came down from her room and said "I killed the aliens but I saved the cows", after she said that, and my brain trying to comprehend the complete abstractness of it, I started laughing. She said it was a pretty intense video game she was playing. MMMkkkay. Just thought that was funny.

And Kent, for the first time, decided to NOT have BBQ sauce with his dinner meat...wait... what?? Kent? No BBQ sauce? My brain, again, was stuck in that complete abstract statement. Kent eats BBQ sauce with EVERYTHING. He even asked for it at the start of dinner. He just decided matter of factly that he wasn't going to have it. Weird...

Here's Jeromy and I, tired but happy :o) God is good!

Kents room is so cute. I love the colors and bookshelves.
Do me a favor though. Last year when you trained, you drank energy drinks. HM, if they aren't all natural without caffeine... please look at the ones I sell. They taste great and they don't have all that junk in them. Much better for your tummy. They're called Rev3 www.rapha.usana.com. I just hate that other stuff you know? Love you and you inspire me!!!
