Almost 2 weeks in...

To this Half Marathon training and it's getting tiring. I knew it would so I got to keep the excitement up. I still have over 10 weeks to go!!!! Just finished 4 miles today. And it not that it's hard... yet... it's that I get bored. So I'm constantly battling my mind telling me it's tired and wants to get off the treadmil, then I argue back- you're not tired you're just bored so suck it up and keep running! So any runners/walkers out there with some "endurance" advice???? Can't wait till it gets warm outside then I can run out doors which will be really motivating instead of on my treadmil watching the dreary rain. Have a great dry day out there. BYE!!

Hi Super Awesome Cousin!!

Training is going well over here, too. Although my legs have been sore since lessee...oh yes! The dolphin dash!!!! Motrin is wonderful though! My treadmill set up is perfect for someone with attention deficit. I have my headphones on WHILE the TV is on to one of my shows. It makes the time go by much faster. I'll have to post on my blog about my treadmill-I like it!!! Good job on your weight loss-you may have to share some hints with me because my weight budges about 1 pound back and forth!!! LOVE YA!!

I am not nearly at the level you are at, but I do intervals. I start off at a steady pace for 5 min..for me that's 5. Then I bump it up to 7 for 60 secs. Then I go down to 4 1/2 increasing it bit by bit till I'm at a 5.5. Then I go all out again. Back down to 4 - up to 6, down to 3.5, up to 6.5 then I cool down at 3. I log it in manually too, so that keeps me busy! It works out to be 1/2 hr on treadmill. =)
