The graduation was at the fairgrounds... there were over 400 graduates and approx 4,000 people watching the ceremony. Needless to say it was crowded and hot in there. But Jeromy found us a seat for us all to fit. We were given 8 tickets, the lucky ticket holders: Jeromy, me, Kent, Aurora, Grandma Cindy, Grandpa Lee, Josh and Grandma Claire. 
She's in the section some where... I didn't cry, I think I was just in shock that this was all really happening!
Kent and Aurora sat behind us, I just put the camera behind me and snapped the picture, I thought this was kinda funny...

Ok, now this picture has a funny story behind it. As the graduates filed out of the building, they were all handed an envelope that said "congrats" on it. So while walking back to the car, Jeromy told her to open it. And it was a flyer for summer work as a tele-marketer. Jade yelled "What the heck?" and took off running, I didn't know where she was running to. Then I realized she was running to the dumpster. I started cracking up! 
All the graduates got this cool medal to wear.
After the graduation we were all so hot that we stopped at Dairy Queen...
The next day, Josh came over and took the kids out to breakfast with Grandma Claire, and then bowling before he flew back to California. One last picture of Josh and the kids...Hey check out that nice paint job in the backgrouns LOL!!
So overall we had a fabulous weekend with family and friends celebrating my baby girl's big day...

WOO-HOO!!!
Ok, so I'm still training for the half marathon during all of this. I haven't been eating very well over the last couple of weeks due to all the excitement/stress of the graduation (don't get me wrong, it was a happy stress, I'm one of those people that can eat no matter what mood I'm in: happy, sad, tired, stressed, excited- I can eat!) But I have been faithfully keeping up on my training.
We are now at week 9!!
Monday: 3 miles... DONE!
Tuesday: Rest.
Wednesday: 4 miles... DONE!
Thursday: 3 miles
Friday: Rest.
Saturday: 8 miles
Sunday: Rest.
I had a friend ask my how is running those 3-4 miles after running the longer runs, I have to say running 3 miles is now a piece of cake!
