Jade's graduation...

Ok, today I'm going to be posting all the pre-party pictures... us getting ready for the open house! First of all, I have to give a huge THANK YOU to my awesome mom, who came with me the day before to help me with all the shopping and making sure I wasn't forgetting anything. After all our shopping she cut up all the fruit, and meat while I was arranging it on trays. Then the day of the party she came over early again and helped cutting tomatoes and rolls. I couldn't have done it all with out you mom, thanks for all your help!

The kids' dad, Josh, flew up from California for the special occasion...So I saw this cupcake grid online, so that's what I wanted to make for Jade, we both were figuring out the color scheme...

See the "2010"??? All those dots represent cupcakes...

Look, our cupcake grid worked... and only 144 cupcakes! That's right- 144 cupcakes!

This is the "Jade display"... lots of cool pictures and stuff about Jade...We got 24 balloons that Aurora is holding, also 3 cool balloons that said 2010 on them.Jade's bling, we got several of these little sparkly necklaces that say "congrats grad" to pass out for people to wear.Ok, almost party time, time to get out all the food trays... don't those look yummy, created by "mom and grandma of the graduate"!!! That lettuce is actually fresh from my parents vegetable garden.Vegetables, shrimp and sushi-- yuck! But it's what Jade wanted....Lots of chips and crackers...Now we are just waiting for guests to arrive... but that will be tomorrows blog! Have a great day!
