It just dawned on me...

.... 2010 is about half over... time just flys by faster and faster the older I get.
This morning Jeromy woke up early while we were all still asleep and started the ceiling painting! I woke up to see him almost finishing up... the vaulted ceiling here needs one more coat tomorrow and then the painting will be DONE!

While he was finishing up, I started my 12 mile run. I was feeling a little nervous, but I just took it one mile at a time. Sooooo, running 12 miles @ 12 minutes a mile makes 2 hours and 24 minutes of running. Unbelievable! I started running at 11:36 am and finished at 2pm on the dot. And.... drum roll... I burned 1,936 calories!!! This picture isn't pretty but this was at the end of the 12 miles, I had to have Kent hold up 2 fingers for me cause I only had 10 of my own!

When I was finished, Jeromy asked "so where are we going out to dinner?" Hahaha, I'm usually the one pushing to go out to dinner, and he likes to stay home and save money, so when he brings up going out to eat it's awesome. So I said Olive Garden cause we hadn't been there in a while. And it was good people! I don't think I used up my 1,936 calories I burned, but we hit dairy queen later and I think that blizzard might have pushed me over the top- but it was WORTH EVERY BITE!!!!

Between dinner and dessert, we went to the mall and picked out a dress for Jade to wear special on her graduation day! So much fun, now she's talking accessories to go with it- that's my girl!

I hope the weather is nice tomorrow, too, have a great night!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your painting job. It's just beautiful and elegant looking. Makes me want to buy a couple gallons of paint and get started at my house. If Jeromy keeps doing such sweet things we're going to have to check his sugar levels. Sweet guys make the best husbands. I should know, I have one. Also, TWELVE MILES?! I'd say you're insane but I know better. Good work and I'm happy as long as you don't hurt yourself. I hope you enjoyed every morsel of dinner and dessert!
Love, Mom
