From work.... and working out!
After church, we had some Trig kids with us and our amazing cousin Kyle over. I was hungry- as was everyone else, so we went to my favorite- The Family Pancake house! Woo-hoo! No pictures of that tho... sorry!
Here's some pictures of some amazing kids, even tho I'm exhausted, I love having kids around. They are just so much fun and so cute, and love to give hugs!
Here's Nadia... a little later she was wrapped up in a blanket with a plate with 2 warm chocolate chip cookies on it- so cute!
Here's Tae' and Beriah chillin' after dinner watching a little "Ice age"....
I snapped a picture of Kent just as he was about to jump in the shower... awkward! His teeth are really getting so straight it's amazing.... such a cutie pie! He's almost 16 ya know!
When Laura came by later tonight to pick up Kyle, she had some Trig kids in her car, too! So I ran out there to get there pictures also! Here's Tessa... she's turning 14 this month...
Here's Iana, she's is the cutest little girl ever! I could just eat her up! She gives me the running hugs, you know where she comes running across the room at you, she's so light that I can just pick her up and hug her! Such a little doll!
Of course there was Hannah and Shane, I pulled Hannah's attention away from her video for a minute and a couple of kisses, too! Love that little face!
And lastly there is the infamous Max. He was a little shy with my camera. He kept lowering his face until it was almost touching his gameboy in his lap, but he didn't mind me putting my camera right up in his grill.... so this is.... MAX, up close and personal!
And now, I get to read and go to sleep and sleep for... 8... 9.... 10 hours? Who know... but pretty much as late as I want to... cause then I start another week of 12 hour shifts... aaaahhhhhh!
I was pretty exhausted today. I only had to work a 10 hour shift last night instead of a 12 hour shift so I was able to go to church today. Great message from pastor Kevin, he spoke of a guy named Nick- sorry can't remember his last name, I believe he's in his 20's, but he was born with out any arms or legs- I'm sure you could google him pretty easily. We watched a short video about him. It was so sad yet inspiring. He talked about how his parents reacted when he was born- the shock and self-blame they went thru. Nick talked of trying to commit suicide at a young age. But to hear him talk now... he's so inspiring. Pastor Kevin likened it to the story of Job in the Bible. It was an amazing sermon. God has a plan for all of us... we just don't always see it.

Then I came home and took a much needed nap of about 2 hours. Kent and Kyle walked up to the local high school and Kyle gave some running pointers to Kent to improve his running. That was so nice of you Kyle- thank you!!
The girls just hung out watching movies, drawing and giggling.
After my nap Jeromy and I went to Home Depot to buy the recessed lighting fixtures for the living room. We are putting in 6 lights. And we got some cool trim for them, and some 60 feet of electrical wiring. And a dimmer switch cause I like to change the lighting! I'm so glad Jeromy knows how to do all that. Cause I haven't a clue. He's got a little more sanding to do, then he sounds like he's going to install the lights tomorrow. Here's out purchases in the garage just waiting to be installed....
We also picked up a few more paint samples, cause once the lighting is installed and the small section in the kitchen still has more popcorn to remove from the ceiling, we're are going to paint the whole living room, dining room and kitchen! And the ceiling, too. At first we were thinking a light green, but now we're leaning more towards a light warm brown kinda like my parents did... we're leaning on the top 2 colors...
Here's Jade and Kyle, Jade made chocolate chip cookies for dessert for us! We also had yummy stir fried rice for dinner...
Well, it's paying for all Jade's senior year stuff which is awesome, we may be able to cater her party after all!
Have a great night!

Why am I so exhausted after reading your blog? What are the color names of the paint chips you're using? I really like them.
