Well, today Kent re-took (is that even a word?) the Accuplacer test to see if he qualified for running start (college).

You can only take it twice in a calendar year. There are 3 sections: 2 English parts and one math part. Well last week when he took it, he passed one English portion but didn't pass the other English or the math- crazy cause he's a genius! Anyway, he retook the 2 parts today, he still did not pass the math but he got a perfect score on the second English- they said they rarely see a perfect score- told ya: GENIUS!

Anyway, so he can do running start next fall and take any class but math, so his foot is definitely in the door. They also said he could take a math 99 class this summer and then he's be able to take math next year as well, or just take the math portion of the accuplacer next year.

It's so exciting cause both my kids will be going to college next fall- it's soooooo awesome!

So Misty came by today to dig up one of those Japanese Maple trees- I think they are called. They are beautiful, but we don't need 5, we're trying to open up the back yard, and I want to keep the 2 in the front yard, but the 3 in the back got to go.

Well, it turns out that the root system goes under the house and Misty said it would take her 4 days to dig it up. She was bummed cause she wanted it, and I wanted her to have it, too! Mom and dad, she said if you were coming to get a tree you'd need a truck to pull it out.

Oh well, she said she'd just go to home depot to buy a tree for the hole she dug in her own yard. But before she left I snapped a picture of Kelsey...

And one of Kelsey and Mason- such cute kids! And I miss you, too Misty, I know our lives are so busy with kids, school, work, husbands, stuff..... but I miss you, too!!!

I just got off my treadmil, did my 3 miles. My official half marathon training starts in about 2 weeks, and than the miles start adding up aaahhhhhhhhh!
