Finally....

We've been so busy, and with the weather being so fantastic... well it's been hard to find time to sit at the computer!

First off I want to say:

Happy Fourth of July!!!

I have been meaning to post the pictures of Aurora's fabulous 10th birthday party we had last week.

Aurora is 10!!
My last blog ended with the parade, and the girls we were having spend the night. So the next morning, the day of the party, we had lots of planning to do!

We had already gotten Aurora's favorites the day before:

Aurora's favorites...
Chocolate chip cookies... check!
French vanilla ice-cream... check!
Lemonade... check!
BBQ potato chips... check!
Confetti cake... check!
Canadian bacon pizza for lunch... check!

Aurora got the prize bags filled with fun stuff for the games.
After breakfast, the girls worked on a huge poster for Aurora's birthday with a huge number 10 on it!

All that coloring, time for a pizza break...

And now onto cupcake decorating! We got 4 different colors of frosting, each girl picked out a color, then we got lots of different kinds of sprinkles. I have to say, Jade was a huge help during all this decorating, helping with the girls and keeping things organized... THANKS JADE!!!

Here's a little video of them decorating!!!

Here's the table, with cute pictures of Aurora growing up thru the years...

The boys... Mason, Kenton & Denny... Some party goers...

Kelsey likes the balloons...

These girls are sooo cute!

Front row: Johnna, Aurora & Nadia (or it could be her twin Tae)
Back row: Tae (or could be her twin Nadia) Jade & Beriah

Here's one of the games we played. It was a game Aurora had played at another party that she wanted to play at her party! She picked a picture out of a color book, and we made several copies for each kid. I colored the picture, then the kids get to look at it for a minute, and then they all color their picture and try to match the colors to the original with out seeing it...

Here's everyone's finished picture. Jeromy judged all the pictures, and without knowing who colored which picture, he chose Mason's drawing as the winner! Good job Mason!!

Here's Beriah, this girl has soooo much energy and is so much fun!
Time to sing happy birthday...

Aurora is such a pretty little girl.... pretty cool cake, too hahaha, love those candles that spell out their name!
Time to open presents....

Look at this face, he wouldn't be up to something would he???
Let's watch the video to see....

Denny wasn't having the greatest time, but then he won one of the prizes, which had woopie cushion in it, he started having more fun after that!

More pictures of cute girls!!

Denny and Mason wanted to go in the back yard, way in the back, and climb the trees, so Jade went with the camera to keep an eye on them, I think she has just as much fun tho...

Mason climbing the tree...

Jade took this video, and Misty I didn't know they were even climbing trees let alone this high! So don't get nervous, I did when I saw this video, but you're probably used the boys climbing high... right?

Jeromy's parents, Chuck and Joanne... they got Aurora a bunch of animal books, Aurora loves animals!

I think Aurora had a great birthday, thanks everyone for coming!

Again happy fourth of July, we have pictures from yesterday's BBQ at my parents, and more pictures this after noon and tonight, so all these 4th pictures will have to be in tomorrow's post!

Be safe tonight everyone!
