Ummm... where did the sun go??

That's ok, we're going to have fun anyway! And what makes the fun more complete than having Aurora for the weekend? We get her thru Monday- woo-hoo!!!

Jeromy was building something new for the house... any guesses so far??
How about now??Now can you tell?? This should help... Aurora still had a $5o gift card from my parents from her birthday to spend, so we took her shopping yesterday... she got more Barbie doll house furniture, and a pair of sparkly jeans! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Drydale!!!Look how cute that doll house is... we still have some of the paint that we painted Aurora's room with, so we are going to paint one the little rooms to match with the white line in the middle of the pink and purple- it is going to be so cute! There's still lots of work to do- fun work that is. We want to get little squares of carpet so the rooms look carpeted! I think we have left over paint that is the color of our house on the outside, so we are going to try to match that, too!
Then we headed over to Laura's for our small group from church. It seems like every time there is a food theme, this time it was "breakfast for dinner", I think we all loved that one! There was so much food!

All I got was this cute picture of Jeromy and Hannah...We left with Beriah, Nadia and Tae... Aurora loves having these girls to play with. Look were they all headed when we got home... how cute are they???Aurora wanted close-ups of the rooms, it will look much more cozy when we get it painted and some carpeting put in...Oh, real quick- I completed that safety booklet that my work was sponsoring. And it turns out I was the first person to finish it with-in shop 64, not just the sailloft, that's a few hundred people, so I got a cool lazer cut wood plaque and a certificate given to me infront of the whole shop, the best part is I get 8 hours FREE vacation hours for completing it!We went to church this morning. Our Pastor Kevin is in Sudan right now. It's not quite the same without him, but we'll get by for the next few weeks.

We left church, and since we have Aurora till Monday, we thought it would be cool to have the girls back over. We also got their little brother Alex- he wanted to hang out with Kent cause he's so cool!

So what's on the menu for lunch?? We had several choices for the kids to choose from... peanut better and jelly, tuna fish, and sliced chicken sandwiches, and between 7 kids, you know all choices were chosen, and we had Costco individual chips- but we did make a special stop to get "spicy hot Cheetos" ....Here's Kent and Alex playing baseball on the WII.... I love the name Alex, that was one of the names I was choosing from when I picked Kent's name. Here's Jade, the amazing "almost 17 year old" teenager, in between helping me with all the kids, she's working on her college assignment... she also helped out in the pre-school room at church this morning, they made fruit loop necklaces and bracelets that you can see Jade sporting here. She's so cool. Kent and Alex playing a sponge bob game...Aurora and Beriah toasting some mini bagels...Jeromy interrupted Aurora spreading her cream cheese, so he gets a knife in the face...I heard the twins giggling up stairs, so I went up... with the camera, and they were playing barbies in Jade's room watching "Ice Age", that'll crack ya up!What else can we do that would be fun?? Aurora stiring...Both girls stirring...When it came time to pour the chocolate chips I didn't know what to expect, so I thought I would video tape it....

All us girls...

It's hard work keeping Jeromy's fingers out of the bowl... good save Nadia!!!MMMMmmmm... chocolate chip cookies...

The girls wanted to hold Dynamite for a while....

Watch out Dynamite... Beriah's still hungry!!Going to be relaxing for a bit, then we're going to be making Orange Chicken with rice and salad (lettuce from my parents very own vegetable garden!!). Aurora loves orange chicken with rice so we like to make it when she's over!

See? We still had fun even tho the weather wouldn't cooperate. But would still like it if the sun would make an appearance!

Hope you all had a great weekend!

That's way too many kids in one house for me. More power to you (you'll need it)! Jeromy - great job on the doll house. Any little girl would love that. Can't wait to see it all finished with the paint and rugs.
