Kent's final track meet...

I was able to take a couple hours off work last night to go to Kent's final track meet. They are fun to watch. Some of those kids are lightening fast, but not as fast as "Torpedo fast Kyle".

It was cool to see Kent out there running. It was really encouraging to here alot of people from his school cheering him on: "Come on Kent, you can do it!" He's not the fastest runner, so it's nice to know his team still supports him and cheers him on, I was so proud of him. Here's our view from our seats up on the little hill. The sun was trying to come out but it was still a little breezy...

He's definitely improved since last year!Kent with his concession stand snacks, he loves that!!And another face I just can't get enough of... love these kids!!(And yes, I know he needs a hair cut!)

In other news, I signed Kent and I up for the Viking Fest Road Race run tomorrow morning in Pouslbo!

Kent is doing the 1 mile, I am doing the 5 mile with my running partner and co-worker Regie. Jade and Aurora are going to be our cheering section at the finish line. Jade would run too, but Aurora hates to run, and I don't want to force her to run everytime, and she can't be alone cause she's so cute and little, so Jade and her will be together. Jeromy will be at the men's breakfast at church, I think they have it once a month, so he'll be missing out on all the fun run stuff. But I'm sure he'll enjoy his time as well.

I'm just excited cause the weather is supposed to be really nice. And this 5 mile run is right in line with my "Sound to Narrows" run in June, cause I am supposed to do 5 miles this weekend, 2 birds with one stone!
