!!WARNING!! Talk of God in this blog, so please DO read, and cool pictures, too!!
Well we had church this morning, and the topic was family. It was so great to hear how God wants us to be as a family, it was so great to have the kids hear it, too. Where the kids are to respect and obey their parents, what parent doesn't want that? So many people out there wonder why their kids are out of control or why they are having problems in their marriage's... well are you doing it God's way... or your own way?
I tell ya, if I just had done it God's way from the beginning I would have saved my self ALOT of struggles and suffering in my life... but I am on the right track now and it feels so good!
After church we had a pot luck over at Laura's with a couple other families to talk about homeschooling. Well, I do it part time now, but all these mothers do it full time, and there are so many ways to home school so we were all getting together to share ideas, and it was awesome, did you know if you home school there is a program out there that gives you $1200.00 per child, per year, on curriculum you want to buy?? I didn't know that! So much information!
Anyways I should throw some pictures in before you get too bored reading this... or are you totally enthralled and could read my ramblings forever... no? OK here's some pictures...
Remember there was a baby in the midst so she's in alot of the photos... Jade and Hannah...
One of the families had 3 kids, here's their 19 year old Stephanie and Hannah...
Here's a picture of the guys... Stephanie's brothers I think they are 15 and 16? And Kent and Kyle and then Shane who kept saying "I'm surrounded by teenagers!!"
Here's Shane again with kids more his age, but I can't remember their names woops! But sweet kids non the less!
Here's Hannah trying to get some greens, she knows what's good for her...
And here's a really cool video of all the teenagers playing card games. All these kids are home schooled. I can't say enough about homeschooling and the benefits of raising kids this way. There is sooo much garbage out there in schools now, I don't think anyone can deny that. I am so thankful we can do this. Next school year it looks like we are going full time!!
It's just great to know these are a group of teens that don't talk about sex, drugs, lying, how much they hate their parents etc... who doesn't want that???

Well we had a great lunch, and I got alot of info about homeschooling.
Then Jeromy went off to a prison ministry that he wanted to try out. It is where a group of men from different churches get together and go to the prison and talk to men who want to know more about God and how to get their lives right. We all know I love this man, but how noble a cause is that? And what an awesome opportunity to talk to men who may have no one else to talk to, or family or friends to help them?? Jeromy may think I brag about him too much but I can't help it!
Anyway while Jeromy was at that, we went back to church for the evening service at 6pm. I know what you're thinking .... too much church. But the video tonight was called "Decision, decisions" and it was great.
I wish I could show it to people at work. It was so powerful, they even had a little clip of what happened to Jesus when he was crucified which is not what I expected to see, but how can anyway watch that and now be brought to tears by what Jesus did for us? I was crying. I can't help it. I sinned so much in my life, and still sin- yet Jesus died on the cross for me anyway...
Well if I haven't lost ya yet here's a couple more pictures of the kids and I tonight getting ready for bed... my adorable kids .....
Wow, I tease my kids about being "pasty white kids", but I'm thinking I'm looking pretty pasty myself.... man I am ready for summer!!
OK, time to call it a night~
Love you all, but Jesus most of all!
Just made that rhyme up, I know you're impressed!!!
