Woops- skipped a day!

Ok, so some more on Kent's adventure...

Yesterday, the kid's: enjoyed a guided visit of Olympia, where the Olympic Games first took place in 776 BC. At ancient Olympia, the kids can see the ruins of the Temple of Zeus, as well as a 3rd century B.C. athletic stadium...

Then the kids departed for their overnight ferry to Bari on the Italian mainland.

Today, Kent is in Naples, Italy. They are visiting the ancient city of Pompeii- Mt. Vesuvius' most famous victim. When the mountain erupted in 79 A.D., it rained ash and stone; the city was completely destroyed and buried beneath the debris.

Kinda creepy...

Also today, the kids will will have be able to speak to a nun, who will tell them more about her life in the nunnery.

And lastly I leave you with a cute picture of our girls! They are so sweet, they are cutting up fruit for my lunch so I can hurriedly right this blog for you all...
