Explanation...

Some people were wondering why the sudden move for us. Here's the quick version. I always knew I was going to move when both kids were close to graduation. In another 2-3 years from now. This house is too big for 2 people, I love this house, but we both want something smaller eventually, and I just have too much "stuff"- I would really like to simplify my life in alot of areas. Sometimes I feel like we all just have too much "stuff". Also I would be losing a significant amount of child support when the kids both reach age 18, so I want to be financially prepared for that.

Well, Jeromy and I have been going back and forth about when... maybe now, waiting the couple of years cause the economy is so lousy, and the house market is pretty bad... well I prayed about it last week asking God for some kind of sign, what should we do... stay or go....

Well, God does answer prayers, not always the way we want Him to though, the next day the kids' dad called from California and he informed me that he will be losing his job in the next few months. It's a real bummer for him, and for us. For him, he hated that job so maybe it's an opportunity for him to find something better. For us, that means we'll have to definitely move soon. I think losing child support completely for an undetermined amount of time would leave us in a huge financial crunch.

Wow, so much for the short version. So that, in a nut shell, is why we are trying to move NOW!

Yesterday, Jeromy and the kids primed the railing cause it was chipping and just looked bad...

Today, they are going over it in black...There it is... kinda bitter sweet...Jeromy pressure washed the deck the other day, he's at Home Depot now cause he has to replace a couple of the boards... then I think his plan was he and the kids will start repainting it tonight. Here's the before...I am de-cluttering BIG TIME!!! Working on the kids' class room and my craft room. Boxing and dusting and vacuuming and mudding up nail holes as I go...

Lots to do...

Update on the PO house... our Realtor looked into and there are other people making bids on it right now. Still open for us, but the pressure is on- I hate pressure. If it is meant to be it will happen, if not, there will be something else out there for us. But first things first-
