Busy saturday...

More of the same... working on the house that is!

Last night, while I was at work, Jeromy and the kids started painting the deck. The worked on the railing, stairs and bench.

Jeromy also had to replace a few boards...

Then today they continued painting. Kent finished the stairs, while Jade did all the cutting in work so Jeromy could just go to town on the rolling...Here's one more of the before....And after... looks great!

While Jeromy and the kids worked on the deck, I mowed the lawn... weeds, and then headed into the house to do some more cleaning. First, I finished vacuuming the stairs, particularly the corners of the stairs... gross! Here's the before...

And after... I know my sister would be so proud...

And what's missing from this picture you may ask??? About a million pairs of shoes.... I like all our shoes out so I can see what I have. But the Realtor said it could look cluttered and messy to potential buyers... can you imagine?!?!?! It does look nice tho...Then it was time to head over to Hannah's very first birthday party!!!! While on the way we ran into some Trigs... what a good looking bunch of kids... there's Alex, Beriah, Tessa, Tae' and Iana...

Here's Hannah, Laura, Kelsey and Misty...Some of the girls there wanted to play with my hair, I'm down with that since I have to bribe my family to play with my hair... it is so relaxing! Tessa called this one the waterfall, I think it's my favorite.... thanks Tessa!

Man, that guy is a party animal 24/7...

After the party we went out for Mexican for dinner, but before that we met up with our Realtor to sign some papers on a house we like. Made an offer- of course contingent on this one selling first.... prayers people prayers!!!

Now we are home, there's still so much to do but I think everyone is tired. I guess we'll be taking it easy the rest of the night. Have a good one, and thanks Jason and Laura for the fun party. And Misty for the cute picture of Kelsey!
