HAPPY 4TH AMERICA

Happy 4th from the Ashcraft's....

We started our morning with our healthy wheat grass drinks. Usually it's just a little bit of apple juice, water and a table spoon of wheat grass. But sometimes, we blend it in the blender with a banana and frozen strawberries...soo gooood!!!!
We needed a healthy start to our day because we were going to practice using Jeromy's new airless paint sprayer by painting the duplex basement... sounded easy enough.... first Jeromy had to reconnect a dryer hose that came loose behind the wall... Then it's time to paint... safely...

Here we both are painting...This paint sprayer is AWESOME....Until we had about a 10ft x 15ft section of the ceiling that was ALL we had left, and the paint sprayer stopped working. Jeromy took parts of it apart to clean out various filters. Still it would not start up. Very frustrating when we only had a little bit more to do. So he recleaned the filters again, and took apart the handle portion. Well, some time later we realized the 5 gallon bucket of paint we were using (with the lid on) was empty, that's why the sprayer stopped working. Hahaha...frustrating, but we're glad the machine still works. So we added some more paint and finished the ceiling! Here's my face right after I took off the respirator I was wearing for a few hours! We both had a light mist of paint on our skin...And poor Jeromy, you can see he has paint in his eye lashes and in his hair...Here's a couple before and afters....The laundry room corner before...And after...So we finished up about 3:30, we were exhausted... ok I was exhausted, Jeromy just keeps going and going! So we went home got cleaned up, and went to the store to get steaks for dinner, we earned it! And a couple of movies. It's starting to get dark now, and we thought we'd go up on our own roof to watch the fireworks over the Silverdale waterfront... but we're tired. We may just stand on the deck bench to see some colors!
