I got an award yesterday at work.

I received "Employee of the Quarter" yesterday for the 1st quarter of 2011. Pretty cool, I was nominated with many others- then I won it!!! My supervisor put me in for it. He wrote alot of nice things such as: She is currently the swing shift work leader, but will make a fine supervisor in the S/64 Sail Loft when the opportunity presents itself.

Some of the supervisors have really been pushing me to put in for supervisor but I'm just kinda hesitant cause of all the B.S. (sorry Grandma!) that comes along with it. But I think I might go for it. I've been there for almost 12 years and out of all 6 supervisors only one has been in the shipyard longer than I have... we will see...

Also, this is the second time I won employee of the quarter, I received it in 2004 also. God is good!!

And I also received... wait for it... the infamous "MAN JACKET"... how did they know this is exactly what I wanted??? Laura, tell Jason I got the man jacket again!!! I mean really??Jeromy already has a nice carhart jacket so I asked Kent if he wanted it cause it is a really nice jacket... for a man... just sayin'...

Kent liked it. And hey it looks really good on him... bein a man and all... lol, I crack myself up!
