My new best friend...

My parents gave me their old food saver- that works perfectly well, cause they up-graded... why hasn't any one told me how amazing this little gadget is? Well, maybe somebody did and I just forgot.

Well, this little tool is AMAZING!!!

I went Costco shopping this morning. At least I went during the week day, but I did a huge grocery shop with out anybody helping me. Jeromy and I usually go, but he's working, or the kids go, but both were in school. I don't mind the actual shopping part, it's the loading and unloading the car part. This car was packed full...

Even the side of the car...Where's Jade when I need her? She usually puts all the food away...While at Costco I got the food saver bags that go with the food saver machine. And I made 10 individual salads for work! This things is going to save me so much money. When I buy all the stuff to make salads at Costco- cause it's the best- I never use it up before it goes bad, I may get 5 salads before I throw it out and buy more. But I made 10, and I still have tons left, I'd make more but I'm running out of time and have to get ready for work. But this weekend, I may be able to make my lunches for a month! And since it sucks all the air out, I can fit quite a bit in the fridge. Here's my salads with lettuce, spinach, broccoli, cherry tomatoes, a scoop of kidney beans and a scoop of black beans, and a chunk of tillamock cheese already wrapped- this is so cool- thanks mom and dad for up-grading!!6 servings of fresh peppers, I still have 6 more servings I can make but I ran out of time....And my strawberries and blueberries.... I actually used up all the strawberries in the carton that were good, I never go thru a whole cart before they go bad... and there's still some blueberries left over that Jeromy wanted for the chickens...I tried to take a cute picture of Kent and Jade... how many times did it take....

ONE- Kent doing some thing to make her squirm, he thinks it's pretty funny, too..

TWO- both of them taking too long to pose so I just snap the picture.....THREE, FOUR, FIVE.... I actually deleted 3 more pictures, just to get this nice one.... SIX...Ok, gotta go get ready for work. At least it looks a little dryer out there today! Good night!
