Finally pictures....

I going to be doing this post in sections today.... as the computer will let me.

We're all getting ready for church, and I'm trying to get some of these cool zoo pictures downloaded before we go.... well it looks like it's working.... so this is yesterday morning on the way to the zoo, and the guys getting their energy drinks... full of fruit!!

Aurora and I went to the coffee shop, for her a hot chocolate, and me- my latte of course. Jade wasn't in the mood for either. And now we're on our way...Waiting in line....

And now we're in... it was such a pretty day yesterday, I loved spending it outside...Here come the animals... this bird was soooo colorful....

Another colorful bird, we could walk right up to this one....Here's the kids climbing a rock to get a better view of the zebra...




Here's Mufasa... and his girl, chillin' in the sun...Some giraffe action....





Aurora found some awesome elephants.... most people who know me (I think) know I like turtles, next in line are those adorable brightly colored frogs, and third are elephants! You can add that to your list of "Fun Katie Facts" to know....

Now onto different breeds of monkeys...

This monkey looked kinda tame....

This was a wild monkey..... don't get too close Kent!!!
Here we all are... it was such a pretty day...
And here we have a Komodo Dragon, this thing just stared at us as if to say " the only thing between you and me is this thin sheet of glass...."

And some Kangaroos, I think they're cool cause their name starts with the letter "K"...
Aurora and an Emu...

Daaaa bears (that's for my aunt Mary)..... it was laying down, looked over at us, lifted its head, then layed back down....
After the zoo yesterday we were all hungry, so we went to my NEW favorite restaurant... MIZU Japanese Steak House!!!

Sooooo yummy!!!!

And lastly, these are for you auntie Linda (and anyone else who likes chick pix)... first the finishing touches of the coop, Jeromy added the trim.....

Pretty snazzy, eh? Well, before I show you pictures of the chicks, I want to remind you what they looked like before when we first got them, they are soooo cute....
Now I won't even hold them, but the kids and Jeromy still do. Just look at them...
This poor guy (girl?) looks like he was chewed up then spit back out, but I guess they are just going thru their awkward teen years....

We all had a great spring break, and it was really nice to have Aurora with us at the end of it.

And this weather is amazing.

So many reasons to be thankful to God... our health, this beautiful weather, to see all the amazing animals He created, to be blessed with such great family, and a church family!!!
