More driving for Jade....

I was looking at my calendar of events, and I though you should see how colorful (busy) it is, it usually gets really busy the end of the school year.

And here's a picture of our "calendar corner", there's the kids school calendar, Kent's track calendar, my calendar, and the training calendar for each of us for the "Sound to Narrows" run. Overwhelming, but by mid June we'll be back to one calender again.... for a few months anyway....

We took Jade to an empty part of the mall parking lot to do some more practising driving... isn't she cute??? She was supposed to have her first official class drive this morning, but she was the only one who signed up for that time slot, so she had to reschedule for this Saturday at 5pm.

And this next video is funny cause I'm inside the car while she's driving, and Jade said put your seat belt on, and I said I'd be fine cause we were in a parking lot, and I wanted to get some video, well at the very end of the video Jade hit the brakes kinda hard (on accident I'm sure) And the camera action is kinda wobbly... hahaha, kinda funny....

She did pretty well, she was up to 15 mph, and I was a little nervous, seriously!

And one last picture of Jeromy who got some more screen printing supplies, he was pretty excited...

Don't have time to look it up.

But wanted to get this picture in the blog, that Jeromy took of Jade driving his van for the first time. They went to the empty school parking lot last night, and he had her do some simple maneuvers for about 45 minutes.

It's really weird to see your baby behind the wheel of the car.... it's surreal.

Jeromy said it was a good thing the parking lot was empty cause the van wouldn't be drivable right now... hahaha.... but it was her first time, she said she was really nervous at first, but relaxed a little as she kept practising.

Gotta go fold a mountain of laundry, straighten up my room, make something delicious for dinner, and then get ready for work.

WOO-HOO!!

All I have to say is.... 4 miles.... 701 calories burned.... and (don't laugh Kyle) 53 minutes and 20 seconds of straight jogging!

Day of rest...

God knew what he was doing when he said the 7th day He rested, and we're supposed to also.

That was our plan, church this morning and then just "trying" to relax the rest of the day. I think we did OK, of course I consider working around the house relaxing. Just being home doing anything is relaxing to me.

We did some yard work. Here's a cool pink tree....

More of that white tree....My parents gave us their cool fountain last weekend, so Jeromy and I agreed on the perfect spot for it.... he's mowing the lawn there, I'd do it but I get nervous running the lawn mower over uneven surfaces....Here I am mowing the rest of the lawn, you'll be seeing alot of these type of pictures thru out the summer....Here he's stacking the pieces....Then Jeromy pressure washed the top piece in the garage, a little bit of the grime came off but not much...While in the garage I took a couple pictures of his set up....Ok, back to the fountain, yeah, I helped Jeromy feed the electrical cord thru the base, and we noticed that a small connecting tube had busted, so we can't turn it on until he replaces it. Darn, another reason to go to his favorite Home Depot store.... but here it is...It is the perfect spot cause it's up on a little rise in the back yard, and I'll be facing it when I'm laying out in the sun. The sound of running water is so relaxing to me...More cool "just mowed" lawn pictures... love it! Love all the green!While Jeromy and I were working out side, the kids went and did their 4 mile walk around the neighborhood. Here they are returning...Super sweet....Here's Jeromy spot killing weeds that are in the path of the water fall, supposed to be water in there, not an assortment of weeds....Then lastly Dynamite, she was chowing down on her food looking so cute, so I snapped a picture, but I think I was irritating her, cause she stopped chewing and stared at the camera I pushed in her face... it looks like she's saying "Did I say something funny? Do I look like a clown?"

hahahah!It's hard to take her seriously tho, when she's got pink food all over her face!

God has created so many wonderful things for us to enjoy... the beautiful creation of nature outside, amazing animals to take care of, and of course awesome family to enjoy it all with.

GOD IS GOOD!!

I think I'm going to do what auntie Linda did, I tried to comment on your blog Kimmy, so I'm going to do it here. Those wedding pictures looked so fun, and the desserts looked delicious! I wish I could have been there, I just didn't have the vacation time at work to take :o(

And to my first-cousin-once-removed.... A.K.A. KYLE !!! You are an amazing runner, I think you're going to be saving your parents alot of money in college scholarships with running times like that! You're awesome!!! Just remember to turn around and wave at us turtle runners behind you... if you can see us!

Where do I begin??

I know you've all been anxiously waiting for the video of those crazy chickens eating yogurt, but you'll have to wait till the end of this post to see that. I know you are sitting at the edge of your seat!

Well, Jeromy and Jade went to Kent's first track meet last Thursday, I had to work-lame, and I told them to take lots of pictures.... well, they took one picture of Kent doing his favorite thing at a track meet, getting food at the concession stand- sometimes I wonder if that's why he joined track haha, just kidding Kenton. Jeromy took alot of video on his video camera, but not on the regular camera, so all you get is this one picture of Kent enjoying his food...

This is just a random picture I took after I made my lunch, even the garbage scraps look so colorfully good...These next pictures are Jeromy over the last week working on his screen printing (printing on T-shirts)... he's built alot of equipment to make this screen printing stuff work, he's done a great job, some time I'm going to have to take pictures of all the work he's done, in the left hand corner you can see the wash out sink he installed, with the plumbing he had to reroute into the garage, he built a framework around it with a caged in shower curtain...

He designed this logo that is on his van, and with the computer graphics program he got he was able (with some tweaking) transfer it into the computer and make it into a print, there's alot more to it then that, but I'm tired and I'll explain more later....
He practiced this design on a few shirts....

I gave him one of my old gray T-shirts to try, and I love it, I think it stands out better on white, but I think the gray looks cool, too...

Here's some pictures of this past week of that awesome white flower tree in the back yard, there are 3 more trees next to it that are a different kind of tree, but it's still a white flower, so cool when they're all blooming, but the white petals are already falling off, makes the ground look pretty tho...
Now to today.... this morning started off with Jade going to Sylvan, she got a certificate today saying she has reached the 100 hour mark, wow! While she was there, I went down the road a little ways, and donated blood... here I am showing off my guns... don't be scared....

Then after I got Jade, we immediately went over to the Department of Licensing, Jade got her permit today!!!! I can hardly believe it! She is already one week into her driving class, she has her first actual drive time next Wednesday @ 9am, which means I get to take her (Jeromy takes her to her evening classes- don't know what I'd do with out him), which also means I'll have my camera, which means as she's driving away for the first time (legally) I'll be snapping pictures!

While we were doing all our morning errands, poor Kent had to stay home and work on Homework, he's got a few papers he's got to get done before the end of the school year.

Then, we had a birthday to go to. My friend Frances from work, has 2 girls, and her youngest was turning 3, she had the party at the local gymnastics place, the kids always love to go their...

Jeromy wasn't able to make it to the party cause he was at a job, it was only supposed to take a couple hours, but she kept adding more things for him to do $$$$, I say keep it coming! He was gone for 7 hours!! She also told Jeromy that she was planning on trying to have monthly projects on her house that she wanted him to help her with, awesome, I knew things would be picking up in spring.

Jeromy only had a banana and a granola bar cause he didn't think he'd be gone so long, so he was hungry! He got home from the job a little before we got home from the party, when we all met up, we headed to Red Robin.... this picture was taken 1 second before Kent stuck his finger in Jade's ear and she screamed, but it was ok, the whole place was pretty loud....

We both are exhausted.... I think I'm so tired cause I donated blood, but I have been drinking a ton of fluids...

Kent ate that whole thing plus the fries and he said he wasn't stuffed, the rest of us are hurtin' units....

No time today either, I've been taking pictures but no time to post, the kids social calendars have me running all over the place during the day, and Jeromy going most nights. And tomorrow is no different.

Jade has sylvan, then we go get her permit, then we're all headed to a birthday party..... and another friend has invited us over for dinner but I think our day is full...

But I'll be posting tomorrow night, with a ton of pictures and videos... you don't want to miss the video where Jeromy feeds the chickens yogurt for the first time... yes, you read that right... feeding yogurt... to the chickens.... on video. HAHAHAHA

Gotta go to work, but it's Friday!!

When the weather is this nice, I am outside too much to get much of anything else done, like really cool blogs full of pictures.

Lots going on. I forgot to mention I ran 4 miles last Sunday just before church, and it felt great, I haven't done 4 miles in a year or so. Training for the "Sound to Narrows" run in June! Today I ran 3 miles outside and it doesn't get any better than that! Sun and running?? Woo-hoo!

Also, Jade has her first drivers ed. class tonight, she's pretty excited, me too! Kent has his first Track Meet Thursday. Busy busy busy!

And in other news, Jeromy printed his first T-shirt yesterday. He has a whole set up in the garage. I gotta take pictures of all the stuff he's done. He's been practising on the computer with the graphics program he has for the screen printing.

His Satcahr company is doing well, too. He had 2 jobs today, and another one lined up. Steady work so far, should pick up as we move into these awesome summer months.

Anyway, gotta go to work now. Have a great Tuesday!

What a weekend!

Saturday the guys were gone at their men's retreat, but they came back late Saturday night which was great! So first thing Jeromy wanted Sunday morning was his German chocolate birthday cake... it may look like a small bon fire, but there are only 31 candles on that cake....

Then we had church, ya know the economy is scary, it scares me at times, but having faith in God, knowing everything happens for a reason, and he created the universe for crying our loud... it's just mind blowing , it just kind of keeps it all in perspective when I start getting stressed about child support or the interest I pay on my house, it's almost laughable. When it's all said and done, I'm going to Heaven, how can anything get me down??? While at church, a couple at church have this sweet daughter Stevie who made this skirt herself that is adorable, and she loves babies ( we wrestle over Hannah sometimes) and she made a matching skirt for Hannah, how adorable are they??

After church we picked up Aurora and then went to the spring fair in Puyallup, it's like the Puyallup fair in September, just a little smaller....Here are the guys in their matching shirts they got a the men's retreat....

Jeromy and Aurora can't wait to get there....

This was the first ride we all got in line for, and while waiting in line Aurora and I saw that the ride actually went upside down, and so we changed our minds, and got out of line hahaha! But here's the brave 3....

Some cool fair action, as the day went on the place really started getting busy, must of been cause of the nice weather and the last day of the fair....

Here's Jeromy getting "a little mad" at how ridiculously high the food prices were. And this is the first time that tax wasn't included the lady said.... lame...

We all like us some Elephant Ears.... YUM, and Jeromy got a dozen of the delicious fair scones.... yes, he got a DOZEN!!!

Me and my baby girl, who's almost a senior, and one day away from her first driver's ed. class...

Aurora loves animals and wants to be a Vet when she grows up, so she loves looking at the animals, here they are next to a chicken.... is ours going to get that big??Here we're waiting for Kent while he goes on some crazy gravitational ride, it spins you so fast you can't move your arms or legs... barely.... I just thought I'd sit that one out too! It was such a gorgeous day though to just sit in the sun!!

Then we went on the Farris wheel, I haven't been on this ride in years.... I took some video while we were going up real high...

The sun really zapped our energy, we were all exhausted. But were going to stop by Jeromy's mom's house, and his dad's and step-mom's Joannes house, because everybody had birthday cards for him, plus when we have Aurora it's nice for all the grandparents to see her cute face... here's Jeromy and his mom Teresa, and Aurora....

Here's Jeromy with his dad Chuck and Joanne.So now we are all completely exhausted. The sun wiped us out, but I'd do it again! Love the summer sun! Got a good start on the tan, too. I'm glad we brought our 30 SPF sunblock for all those light skinned people!
