Potato gun... Birthdays... Scrapbooking

What a combo!

First, here are the pictures from last nights potato gun fun... safety first....
Jeromy let each kid try cutting some wood for some part of the gun....There was some gluing involved...And here's the finished potato gun...
When they were all done last night, they called me out to take a look, it was so funny cause they had it all propped up, and covered by a blanket except for the very end. They shot out several potatoes from the back deck, and some of them hit all the way into the pond in the pack yard. I thought that was pretty cool. Jeromy was a little disappointed in how far it went. He's already re-thinking a new strategy.

So today we were celebrating my dad's 66th birthday. He officially turns 66 tomorrow, but with the kids in school, him working days, and me nights, we thought we should take him out to dinner tonight! We went to Famous Dave's BBQ again- it is soo good! Here's the group... (can you guess what the shiniest spot on the pictures is? You guessed it.. MY FOREHEAD!! Grrrr!)We did the trash can lid dinner for all again.... look at all that good stuff....Mom and dad again...I think we made a dent...HAPPY 66th BIRTHDAY DAD!!

So in between corn mazes, potato guns & birthdays, I've been fighting a cold. And the best medicine for that is SCRAPBOOKING! I've been working alot on my pages and am almost caught up. I thought you might want to see how they're coming along! Here's when I went to Florida to see Savannah and Violet--- and Misty and Nick, too!!

Here's Kelsey's "BIRTH" day page....And here's Jade's first day back to school page. For all of you who scrapbook, they have the coolest stuff at the "Scrapbook Zone" They have paper and stuff for just about every local high school. Look how cool that looks.... It was almost hard to buy it though, cause I went to Olympic, I wanted to buy the blue Olympic Trojan stuff! Here's a cute page of Jeromy and his daughter....And then Hannah's "BIRTH" day page.....So much cute stuff! I finished about 20 pages but figured this was enough to give you an idea. We rented a movie tonight to watch with the family, so we're getting ready to do that. Have a good night.
