My little artist

Jade loves to draw. She is getting quite good at it, actually she's been quite good for a while now. She looks back at some of her old drawings as says how bad they were, but they were amazing for her age, and I told her to keep practicing, and she has. She took a drawing and pottery class last year in school. And this year she is taking a painting class. I can't wait to see what she brings home! We love art in this family, at least I try to cultivate that idea!

Here's one of her drawings before she colors it in....It sat like that on her table for a while, and I kept bugging her to color it in, and she's told me several times, "you can't rush an artist". I hate it when she's right :o) Anyway she finally got to coloring it in...As you can see she's really into the "Japanese Anime" drawing style. Here's a rare glimpse of the artist at her drawing table creating a master piece I am sure!Well, that's all for now. In other news cousin Kristi is blogging now! Awesome, just need to get a few more of you blogging out there, and some who already blog to blog more often (mom, what's going on over there???)

Anyway, all 4 of us, Jeromy, myself, Jade and Kent all have dentist appt this afternoon at 3pm, for our 6 month checkup/cleaning. Love clean shining teeth.
