Less of me.

Had another Weight Watchers meeting today. Jade wasn't feeling good... not feeling good at all really, so she stayed home. So this week's weight loss is just me, but together from 3 weeks ago we are both down 17.2 pounds. I have hit my 5% weight loss this week.

They help you figure out your goal weight, and then how much of that is 5%, then 10%. So I have now lost 5% of my self. It's over 10 pounds, so I also like the analogy I heard that if you got to the grocery store and pick up a 10 pound bag of potatoes... and carry it around for a while... that is heavy! Well, I lost that 10 pound bag of potatoes just a few more 10 pounders to go!

Also upped my runs to 2.25 miles. Slow and steady... wears my turtle shirt?

hey katie what u should do for ur runs for speed work is go faster for a quarter mile
like 1.5 times faster, example; your goin about 5-6mph usually right when u run?so for a quarter mile( for the 2.25 miles or so u do, like .025mile, half a mile off, 3/4 mile on...etc) u run at about 7.5-9mph between, then go slow that half mile(so u get a chance to cool down) and a easy way to push urself for that is pretend ur runnin to catch a piece of that rainbow cake or runnin to go hug tesss or somethin(she felt like makin u work for this hug :P)
