A Wedding!

There is a young couple from our church that got married yesterday afternoon. It was beautiful!

Alot of people at church helped in getting the wedding together. One lady made this gorgeous cake with ribbons and real rose petals...
Sean and Brooke had a huge wedding party... another lady did all the decorating. Brooke wanted a rustic theme. See the rose petals on the floor to the left?
Our Pastor Kevin performed the ceremony...Some cool teen girls- Jade, Simone, Hannah and Stephanie...
Jeromy and Natalie! I don't know how many times I kissed her chubby little cheeks! I got to hold Natalie for most of the ceremony cause both her parents were in the wedding party!
Kent and Jade got to hold her, too.
After the wedding, there was a dinner with the reception party- yum!
Here's our happy little group!Time for cake!
Some more teenagers: Jade, Triva, Danny, Hannah, Phillip and Kenton...
The newly married couples first dance!
Then they had all married couples come out, and the point of it was to see who was married the longest. You can see Jeromy and I- he's in the light green shirt and I'm in black with bright green accents. As the DJ went up in years, like after he said if you've been married for 5 years or less walk of the dance floor. The last couple dancing has been married 64 years- amazing!
Here's JerEmy and JerOmy.. OR J2 and J3.I had some videos but they weren't downloading. Lame.

Oh well, have a great Monday!

It's Saturday...

And I'm being forced to work. Some one, some where, has poor managing skills, and unfortunately that effects the little guy- me!

So most of our shop is being forced on 10 hour shifts for a while. I was already doing that on the weekdays, but now I HAVE to work weekends, too. At least not sundays... not yet anyway.

Not much else is going on. Jeromy and the kids are all doing great. Kids just finished their 5th week of school. One more week and they will be half done with their fall quarter of school.

Jeromy is also doing great with his online theology school (Bible school)- he's getting A's so far on his looong papers.

Tomorrow we are going to a wedding, it's going to be so fun. It's a young couple from church. They have 9 people on each side of their wedding party- that's the biggest wedding party I'll have seen in person!

Have a great Saturday!

Using Rainbow therapy to brighten my mood- it's working!!

Happy Anniversary!!!

10-20-2010

Today, Jeromy and I celebrate 3 years of marriage!
I started the day with a massage- that was nice! Then I met up with Jeromy, he was getting off of work early to drive his parent's truck back to his parents- his was in the shop getting some work done. So we drove to Tacoma and dropped off the truck.
Then we got his truck back from the auto shop (I don't know how those people sleep at night with what they charge!). Then we went out to a nice lunch- Mexican, I love Mexican food, but my stomach seems to disagree :o(
Anyway after that we went to the waterfront where Jeromy proposed over 3 years ago. So every year- all 3 of them- we have gone to the water front to snap a picture. What a gorgeous day....This picture is for you mom- NO SUNGLASSES!
After that we came home and relaxed for a bit. I know what you're thinking.... "Shouldn't Katie be getting ready for work???" And to that I answer NOOOOOOOO! I put in for the day off way back in January. I figured what ever we were doing for our anniversary it was not going to involve work! Woo-hoo!
I did head back out to pick Jade and Kent up from school. My parents have been picking them up on Wednesdays- thanks mom and dad- but I was able to today cause I am OFF WORK!
So then we are back home and Jeromy and I crashed for over 2 hours- we were TYYYYY-YUUURD (tired)!
We finally got up and went to Wednesday evening church. I usually don't get to go cause I'm working. Did I mention I didn't go to work today???? So it was nice to go with Jeromy tonight! Jade came also, Kent had to stay home cause he had a paper due tomorrow.
Here's Jeromy practicing his guitar. So cute.
So that's about it. God is good, He is building a great foundation for our marriage. Can't wait to see what the future holds.

One last picture of Jeromy and I--still in the honeymoon phase- mostly hahahaha!!!

The Wild Iris Inn.

Jeromy and I got away for a few days last weekend. Friday thru sunday. I wanted to go to a cool little bed and breakfast place cause I have never been to one. Jeromy and I both looked online for ones that looked nice, and Jeromy found this one. It's about 3 hours away, in Sgagit Valley I think, right next to the tulip festival place.

It's called: The Wild Iris Inn
This was a sitting room right next to the check in desk. It was pretty cute, almost hobbit like.
Going up the stairs to our room. This tree has an ivy feel to it... it looked cool.
Our room was niiiice...
They have these cookies that the staff put our everyday in the room... they are HUGE!!!
The first night we just stayed in cause we were tired. When we checked in they told us about their amazing 2 course breakfast that is in the restaurant just off the check in desk, or they said we could have it delivered to our room. That's what I'm talking about... here's our breakfast in bed...

After breakfast, and a long lazy morning, we took a walk to all the nearby touristy stuff. The weather was perfect.Stopped for lunch at a seafood restaurant by the water..After shopping around, we headed back to our room to chill. Then we headed back out late and went to this restaurant called "Seeds", it looked pretty cool. But it was packed, so we got our food to go and ate in our room- alot nicer! The next morning we had breakfast in bed again, then it was time to check out.

Before heading straight home, we stopped in Tacome to spend some time with Aurora. We got her then stopped by this old fashioned burger joint, where you order your food from your car or at their outside area and then they come out on roller skates with your food. I remember seeing that done in movies LOL! Here's Aurora and Jeromy...

We stopped by his parents house for a visit... the weather has been great all weekend...Afterwards, we took Aurora to the the Pt. Defiance Park...Come OOOOONNNNN, how cute are they??????????After dropping off Aurora, we finally headed home. Here's Jade and Kent holding the little boxes we got them. The lide open and are a real smooth wood.

Ok, well that's all folks.

Real Quick!

Jeromy and I are getting out of town for a few days. I'm off today and he's getting off at noon. We are headed to a little bed and breakfast place 3 hours away from here and we're not coming back till Sunday afternoon.

It's our anniversary getaway that we both really need. Our actual anniversary is next week.

I'm sure I'll post some pictures of where we are going after we get back. We've been counting down the days the last few weeks till today... we need to get awaaaaay.......

It's Wednesday again.

The day I meet the kids at college to have lunch with them. So I made tuna fish sandwiches and brought some chips and water to meet them.

It was a beautiful crystal clear blue sky day. Kinda chilly. And some of the trees are amazing. These fall tree pictures are for you Sarah H.! (Try to ignore the telephone line running thur the middle of the tree!)
We went to a park near the college to eat. Aren't they cute. The water was calm and peaceful looking as well...The park didn't have as many fall trees changing colors as the school did. So after we left the park we stopped at DQ again for one of their mini blizzards. Then back to school. These trees boarder the college... this one was actually taken thru my moon roof of my car.

This is one of the Japanese Maples in our front yard. Starting to change color...
