Labor Day Weekend.

SATURDAY

Bright and early we headed to the Blackberry Festival. They were having a fun run of either one mile or a 5K (3 miles). I haven't done the Blackberry Festival run so I was excited to do this one. We had Tessa with us, and Austin also ran. Jade, Kent and myself were runners. And we saw cousin Kyle there, too!

Unfortunately it was raining a bit, I almost canceled cause I HATE wet feet.

Here's Kent and I doing the 5K.... I would have gotten a picture of Kyle but we didn't see him until about 10 minutes before the run...Here's the one milers... Jade, Tessa, and Austin...Aurora being cute, and Jeromy was our photographer...Here's Tessa crossing the finish line...

And here's Kenton, Kent would have had a better time, but half way thru the run he had to stop to use the bathroom. Poor kid, but he did a great job! I asked him why he was leaning forward in this picture, and he said that's what the professionals do when they cross the finish line.Look at these adorable runners! But Alex is seriously fast, Jeromy got his awesome picture of him flying across the finish line...Tessa won FIRST place in her age division! Awesome job Tessa!!!! Jade and Austin both won SECOND place in their age division- we had a bunch of winners! I'm sure Kyle placed but I don't remember what he got. See? That's another reason I take pictures of everything cause I forget when I get home!After the run, we rushed home, and I showered real quick cause I had to work Saturday night. But I headed into work a little early, cause I was meeting my friend Misha, her husband and 2 little boys who were at the Blackberry Festival. By then the weather was cooperating a little better. It was GREAT to see you again Misha, and meet your husband Stuart and your little boys. Thanks for letting me hold your baby. Both boys are adorable and have your eyes! And since I was on my way to work I didn't have my camera with me so no pictures :o(

SUNDAY

After church on Sunday we went home and I started making a mound of meatballs. We were having Michelle and her family over for dinner. This meatball recipe is actually one Michelle gave me. It's teriyaki meatballs and they are delicious.

Aurora helped me out...

I think everyone liked 'em...We also invited the Cooler Schooler's! They are so great letting me hold baby Natalie forever! Man I love babies! Don't want anymore myself, but I love babies! MONDAY

We were having some Trig girls stay the night sunday night cause we have Aurora with us.

And since some of them have birthdays coming up, we had to do a little shopping.

Can't go shopping with out ice-cream... well you can but why? We went to Cold Stone Creamery. And for some reason I kept calling it Stone Cold. Don't want to, and the kids kept correcting me. STONE COLD! STONE COLD! STONE COLD! OK, got it out of my system...How cute are they? I think I used the word "cute" too much today, can't help it!
The girls hanging out with Jade and her laptop...Beriah and Aurora got matching coats. I didn't think much of these coats but they really liked them. Such sweet girls!

So then we dropped all the girls off at home. Came home and ate leftover meatballs YUM!!
