The 10 week training schedule suggests that you be running comfortably for 30 minutes for 4-6 weeks before starting the 10 week training count down for the half marathon. I think I am there.
I was really wanting to increase my speed gradually, but I think I just run the most comfortable at a 12 minute mile. During races we tend to naturally go faster cause of all the adrenaline and excitement of the run. But just for everyday training I think I'm going to stick with a 12 minute mile, it's very comfortable.
So today, I did 2.75 miles at the 5.0 mph which is the 12 minute mile, and that took 33 minutes.
In a few more "sessions" I'll get back up to 3 miles.

I know you can do it. Great job! I think I might do the 1/2 marathon in June too. That is if I am in Washington.
