Very productive day....

I started the day feeling like I had way too much to do and not enough time to get it done.

Well, I got Kent off to school, then Jade and I headed to the college for the book buy back sale, which was awesome, cause we were the 2nd in line and we got almost $200 back, I was so excited!

We did register her for another class, she's taking a humanitarian class, "intro to western religions" should be interesting for her. So now we are saving over $1200 with running start. And with that book money we got back we were able to get her books for her next quarter, pay the $95 in misc. fees, and I only had to write a check for $5... I was very happy!!!!

Then we went to the bank, then to JCPenney's. Then I started decorating.... oh but first I took this picture the other day of our run away chicken, I was going out the front door - remember the chicken coop is in the very back yard, well, I go out the front door and there's a chicken, when you're not expecting to see a chicken 2 feet from you it can be kinda startling! So I grabbed the camera and here it is trying to run around the corner going back to where it knows it belongs...

Ok, back to decorating. I got out my old reliable fake Christmas tree, it's pretty cool for a fake one, but I do miss that fresh tree smell... here's the start of it....Here it is with lights and the tree skirt....Here it is all done, I LOVE it! I don't realize how many awesome ornaments you've painted for me over the years mom, they are so awesome and totally make my tree special! Thanks mom and I love you! Doesn't it look awesome??? I even had Christmas music playing while I was decorating. And the kids each put on their new ornament for the year. We have Aurora's that she can put on this weekend when she comes over...And look- there are already 2 presents under the Christmas tree.... To: Jade and Kent, from their dad in California, they came in the mail yesterday but they weren't wrapped.... I fixed that!!Some other decorating...Ohhhh.... ahhhhhh...... you think the turtles go with the Christmas theme???Now I got to go get ready for work. Then Jeromy is taking Jade to drop off her last 2 papers at OC and she is done with her Fall quarter. I drop Kent back off at the high school for his honor society meeting and then I'm off to work.
