Handyman work, random cuteness, kids see their dad from california, a town without power, and a 25th wedding anniversary!!

Here's one of Jeromy's jobs he's been working on last week... he is taring out this man's old deck and rebuilding a new one... he brought along Austin for some extra help...

Ok, it has to be said, that is one handsome young man....They were also working on sheet rocking and mudding the guys garage...

Here's the random cuteness... Tessa and Tae'....

This is some serious cuteness right here folks... little Iana...Jade and Kent's dad came for a "short and sweet" visit last weekend. Here is their uncle Gabe, Jade, Kent, Josh- their dad, and their grandma Claire.

Then one day last week the power went out, we hardly ever lose power where we live. So of course my car was completely on empty and I had no cash, so we drove to the bank, we noticed real quick that most of the town was out of power, all the intersections were just flashing red lights. Soooo there were alot of short tempered people.

So that also meant that the bank, MY bank was closed! So I couldn't get any cash. It wouldn't have mattered anyway cause the gas stations were closed, too! I was getting a little nervous cause I was REALLY on empty, I was empty the night before driving home from work.

So I called Jeromy while he was at work cause I was nervous I was going to run out of gas in the middle of the non-working intersection and I would be attacked by the angry mob (ok, I wasn't that nervous... mostly). He said we could use the gas tank that we use for the lawn mower... so that's what I did, with Kent's help...

Once we had a little gas, we found the closest place that took checks... and had power.... did I mention it was my last check? Time to reorder... as soon as the banks are up and running again. We stopped at the bowling alley... Here's Iana with her hot chocolate....Here's Kent and Jade... Kent's been in this mood for a couple of days where he wanted to wear his PJ's everywhere, with this rainbow hawaiian lay and that crazy hat that he got at the whaling days parade. Well, on day 3 Jeromy had had enough and made him change. I thought it was kinda funny. Kent said he wanted to dress "weird" for a while... he sure did!Are these kids really 15 and almost 17 years old?? I don't know- where's the birth certificate? Well I guess some people can get away with out one. Then today, we had Jeromy's dad and step-mom Joanne's 25th wedding anniversary to go to! Here's Jeromy and Jacob...Remember Jeromy's brother Bill has 4 kids, and I was trying to get a picture of all 4 of them... really really hard to do. Well I got all 4 of them here, but you can only see one of their faces hahaah! Five year old Cameron is facing forward but his face is hidden, the 2 year old twins Jacob and Katlyn are facing the other way, but you can see one year old Haley in the pink! Here's Haley again...Check out all that food, everything was sooo good!!The party people....Sooo cute... Jeromy and I!!! Love him!! I told him I was getting ideas for our 25th wedding anniversary and he just rolled his eyes.... but he did it with sheer happiness and delight in his heart I tell ya!!Chuck and Joanne feeding each other some of their banana wedding cake- they same cake they had when they got married, and it was delicious!Jeromy and his dad.... Happy 25th wedding anniversary Chuck and Joanne!!!That's all for now, there are 9 kids in the house, it is almost midnight and I still hear voices!! Good night!
