Jeromy worked more at the house yesterday, I came a little later in the day to help out for a few hours. He was going to tile the bathroom floor. And my job was cutting the tile to size where needed. Here I am cutting. Here's Jeromy mixing the stuff that goes under the tiles... can't remember what it's called.
And then laying down the tiles....
Look at him go...
I need one of those time lapse videos to watch this being done fast forward!
Almost done!
AWESOME!
Today, Jeromy goes back to fill the grooves with another compound (and other misc. stuff). Good thing he has knee pads. The owners of the house have a spectacular view of the Seattle skyline, and of the water itself! This picture doesn't do it justice.....
The kids and I are just hanging out today- until I go into work later this afternoon. Only a couple more lazy days of summer for these 2 kids!
Oh yeah, and the reason I named this post "a busy day in he neighborhood" is because Jeromy got a second job on our own street for gutter repairs, and putting new linoleum in a bathroom and other misc. repairs. Nice when the job is so close to home!
