More Kelsey Christine!

First thing this morning, our church was having service at another apostolic church in Puyallup so we went over there. A long ways to go, but with 2 churches in one place, it was pretty amazing! And then they had a delicious potluck right after. Actually, the home church put it on for all us visiting from over here. YUM!

Then on the way back home, we swung by Misty's to drop off some of Denny's game stuff and to see:

Misty had alot of family over from her other side, so we didn't stay long, but I did get to hold her for a few minutes!!!She was barely trying to wake up, but Jade took this picture while she had one eye peeking!Time to relax the rest of the night!

Work and Play!

This morning we went to one of Jeromy's jobs in Tacoma. He was putting in a crown molding type wood between the cabinets and the ceiling to close up the gap...Here's one of Jeromy's new portable saws he used for the job...Then the completed job.... she plans on painting this eventually. She has other jobs she wants Jeromy to work also!Then, we went back to the hospital to see Kelsey and family!

Kelsey's big brothers...The boys really love that baby...So does Auntie Katie...Here's the back of Kelsey's head, look at all that beautiful dark hair....She really LOOKS at you with those eyes when she's awake!Now time for bed, I am exhausted.

But you gotta stay with me here, I need to take you thru the exciting events of the day that we all went thru before we see Kelsey! But I promise there are tons of baby Kelsey pictures coming!

So anyway, I was woken up this morning with Jade yelling thru the house "MOM, Misty's water broke and they're at the hospital! We got to go!"

So I got out of bed, quick shower, and we're off to the hospital! Here's Misty, getting ready to have this baby!

We went to the hospital cafeteria cause I still have not had my coffee yet! Here's the kids being so good!At this point, Misty was at 3 cm, and it looked like it was going to be a while. So I was going to watch Denny and Mason so Misty and Dennis could have some quite time getting ready for Kelsey to arrive!

So, today is also KIMMY's birthday!! So we thought we'd crash the party! Here's some fab looking cousins.... Laura, Kimmy and Katie...

And here's a bunch of 'second' cousins.... if you look closely to the right of the picture you can see Hannah trying to be in the picture!So on our way out Shane came and gave us a personal goodbye... such a CUTE kid!Next we went to McDonald's for lunch...See Denny up there?Then... I know you wanna see baby pictures, they're coming! Then we went to Walmart to buy a big poster board cause the kids were going to draw Misty a congratulations card! Here's Mason and Jade....Now this is hilarious! On the way home, Kent wanted to hear Michael Jackson's "Beat It", so here's the kids rocking out while we're driving home!

So then we got home and hung out for a while. It was kinda funny, the kids went off in pairs. Kent and Denny were all about the video games. Jade and Mason- the artists- worked real hard on drawing Misty's card, and they went out side and explored. But Kent and Denny... it's all about the games!

So, THEN, Jeromy got home from his job in Port Orchard, we got a call from my mom saying Misty was dilated to 7cm, and they were going to get a bite to eat at Red Robin, so we said we'd meet up with them and get dinner and then go to the hospital to see Misty and Dennis cause I think the kids were missing them! Red Robin is GOOD!While we were eating our dinner, we got THE call! Dennis said that Kelsey was here!! That was so quick! Misty said literally after my parents left for Red Robin she felt the urge to push!! Here's Misty and Dennis, Misty wanted to eat first thing, she said her legs were still in the stir ups when she asked for something to eat! So funny! I so understand!Okay, here are the baby pictures:

Here's the whole family! Misty, Dennis, Denny, Mason and Kelsey!!!The siblings! The boys were really glad to finally see their sister!Here's Kent holding Kelsey...And here's grandma's 2 August born grand daughters!! Jade and Kelsey!!

I'm kinda bummed cause I took a little video of Kelsey, and I CAN'T get it up and running :o( it was adorable too :o( Anyway, she was so alert and so cute, and she was hungry!!

Family Pictures

FINALLY got our family pictures back from JCPenneys this morning! Here's of all 5 of us...
The 3 greatest kids: Jade aged 16, Kent 14 and Aurora 9....And the happiest 10 month married newlyweds...Also, Jade spent some more of her birthday money and got some more drawing supplies... she's working on a drawing right now that I will post when she's done...And I finally got around to making a new locker organizer for my locker at work. Made with several pockets for pictures, Jade and Kent were nice enough (forced) to be torn away from their video game to hold it up for this picture....P.S. Hey Laura and Linda F., don't know if you can make it out, but the picture right at Jade's waist is of all 3 of us and Jeromy running in the Viking Fest Road race, need to see that inspiration everyday!!

Busy day in the neighborhood,

Jeromy worked more at the house yesterday, I came a little later in the day to help out for a few hours. He was going to tile the bathroom floor. And my job was cutting the tile to size where needed. Here I am cutting. Here's Jeromy mixing the stuff that goes under the tiles... can't remember what it's called.And then laying down the tiles....Look at him go...I need one of those time lapse videos to watch this being done fast forward!Almost done!AWESOME!Today, Jeromy goes back to fill the grooves with another compound (and other misc. stuff). Good thing he has knee pads. The owners of the house have a spectacular view of the Seattle skyline, and of the water itself! This picture doesn't do it justice.....The kids and I are just hanging out today- until I go into work later this afternoon. Only a couple more lazy days of summer for these 2 kids! Oh yeah, and the reason I named this post "a busy day in he neighborhood" is because Jeromy got a second job on our own street for gutter repairs, and putting new linoleum in a bathroom and other misc. repairs. Nice when the job is so close to home!
