And we did! Actually we were going cause Aurora was in yet another fair showing her goat for 4H. We got there just before she was ready to show and got a couple of scones (of course!) and some coffee. Those scones are so good!
Then we found Aurora! She had her sister (who was also showing a goat) her little brother, her mom, step-dad, uncle, cousin, grandma and grandpa and great-grandpa... then Jeromy and I all cheering her on! Lots of people love that girl! Look how cute she is!There were so many goats. I started having a little bit of a reaction- there are so many farm animals. The fur is just in all the air. I actually started to lose my voice, that was weird! But look at this cute little baby goat!
Here's Aurora in line with a bunch of other intermediate kids. Their age group was so big that they had to brake them up into 2 groups.... makes for a long time :o) but it was worth it to see Aurora!
She's so cute! Jeromy got this funny one of her as she was turning around.
After words, Jeromy and I went off and did our own thing. Kent was staying over night with his cousin Kyle. This was the first time I've ever been to the fair with no kids! Jeromy and I were the kids! So I really wanted to go on the Extreme Scream! I've never been on it and I found out that Jeromy had also never been on it. So that's what we did! Here it is. It's 20 stories tall- 200 feet!!!! You can see the people seated at the bottom then it just rocket blasts to the top! Sooooo faaaaaaast! So fast in fact that I had to shut my eyes! Then it kinda bounces mid way and creeps all the way up to the top, waits a few seconds then just dive bombs straight down! So cool.
Having fun!
We had alot of fair food, scones (2 different times) ice-cream, cookies, cashews and this plate of yummy shredded chicken over rice!
We had enough tickets to go on this roller coaster. I thought this sign was funny. Since I have neck issues... I was a little nervous but I did it anyway!
Here we are heading up the first steep incline...
We walked around almost all the attractions. Jeromy got some real honey inside a real honey combe! I did try a little bite but I couldn't get out of my head that real bees were crawling all over that combe. Jeromy is also wearing his new lanyard he got for work for his badge... it's Mator.... from the Cars movie!
We had a great time!

Love the scones...they're the only reason I'd go to a fair. Be careful on those rides...scary!!
