So thankful! Things our family are thankful for:
Aurora: My home!
Kent: My family! (Kent didn't know what Jade said.)
Jade: My family! (Jade didn't know what Kent said.)
Katie: For my husband, my kids, this house, good paying job, yummy food, and the day off from work to enjoy all of it!
Jeromy: The uncorrupted reason for Thanksgiving- you'll have to ask him what that means.
So thankful to Jesus who has given us life and all the blessings we have, for wonderful family and friends and an abundance of food.Feast your eyes on this!!!! I found this yummy recipe on line! Here's the ingredients:olive oil
ground thyme
1 cup honey
dried sage leaves
fresh minced parsley
dried basil
salt and pepper
Sounds amazing doesn't it. And I also slow cooked it. It took 7 hours on 250 degrees. And it was perfect at 1 o'clock for our dinner! Thanks mom and dad for bringing your meat thermometer to make sure it was perfect- and your turkey carver! Can anyone tell what's wrong with the turkey here? Well, I cooked it upside down! I couldn't tell which end was which and apparently which side is the front or back! LOL- it still all cooks the same! Thanks a bunch to my amazing daughter Jade who woke up with me at 5:30 this morning to get the turkey all ready and pulled out all the gross stuff so I wouldn't vomit. TMI sorry!
Daughter and dad: Misty and Lee...
Sister: Katie and Misty....
Jeromy cutting the turkey!
Aurora letting Kelsey play with her doll house and dolls. Misty said Kelsey was hoping Aurora would let her in her room when they were driving over!
Mmmmmm: coffee, tea, root beer and water.
We have 3 desserts to choose from! A yummy pumpkin cake- made especially for Aurora cause she doesn't like pie- her mom emailed me this yummy recipe! Then we have my mom's apple strudel- always a hit! Then Costco's amazing pumpkin pie- this pie almost didn't make it past last night- Jeromy and I were both eyeing it! And of course cool whip!
The Thanksgiving tables!
Good job cutting the meat Jeromy! (Better than cutting the cheese! Sorry it had to be said!)
The group! Can you see Kelsey's little face by the sink faucet???
Cute grandpa and grandma!!!
The kid table... even though Jade's a 19 year old adult! When did those kids all get so big!
The adult table. Minus Dennis... he had to work :o(
Jeromy and Kelsey playing with the building blocks!!!
Had to have a little of all 3 desserts!!!
The grand kiddos back row: Denny, Kent & Jade. Front row: Mason, Kelsey and Aurora.
The grandsons: Denny, Kenton and Mason... looks like Denny is catching up to Kent in height!

The granddaughters: Aurora, Kelsey and Jade...
Da boys.... just chillin'... nice group of good lookin' guys... especially that one in the front!
YAY!!!! Five days of dinners out of all the yummy leftovers! And that's just for me, we also have several tupperwares in the fridge of massive leftovers for the whole family! Hope they don't get sick of turkey any time soon!
My mom would be so proud... right mom? I've been cleaning up the kitchen over the last couple of hours and I've actually**** wait for it**** been enjoying it! Jade was kinda stressing the clean up chore cause the dishes is her chore, but I just felt like doing it and it was kind of nice and relaxing just slowy cleaning every little thing up. Any one with me on this or is it just me??? Anyway, everything is CLEAN!
Good night!
